Oooohh! I want one :D:D
two please.
omg that is the coolest thing i have ever seen
how much these costin then?
Woah! I don't know if I would like it on the ceiling though :(.
wow, i want one.
i didn't know they went that big, i've only seen a 63" (biggest like)
wow, i don't think i want one though.
um i wud hate to always have to look up to watch tv tbh
only costs about 20 credits.
that'd be awkward to watch though.
wouldn't be awkward if you positioned it like it is in the picture, it'd be straight in front of you whilst you were lying down, it'd be perfectly in your live of view.
they have one of those at the dentist i go to! it's only 20 inch though :(
So, what if you wanna' play your PS3, a car game, and on your steering wheel? :S
Lol. :)
That would be fun to install, the ceiling won't like the weight alot :P You'd have to reinforce that somehow :P Ideal if you live in a small space though :)
True.
It could cost more to install then to buy. XD
would be annoying to watch it
He looks to have loads of wall space - i would have put it there lol.
id be so paranoid that that would fall on me. seriously.
I think its more for lying down at night and watching it, iygm :P Not for daily use xD!
I'd have 2, one on the wall and one on the ceiling. But im poor, Someonez buyz me HC? =D
It has such a large viewing angle you don't need to be lieing down to use it.
Projectors are the way forward for cheap big screens. :)
This is one of them ideas thats quite good, but at the same time really bad.
You would hurt your eyes and neck looking at it for long periods of time.
You would constantly be worrying about '**** what if this thing falls on me!?' and if it does, it is going to hurt... a lot!
What about plugging the TV in? I dont know about anyone else but I dont have plug sockets on my roof, mine are down by the floor which will be a problem.
How would you fix it to the roof? Roof's arent strong because they are not made for walking on LOL. But If you were on the top floor of your house I guess you could fix it to a roof beam.
Dispite all this, id still like one :D, but not a 98", maybe a 26" or something that wont squash me if / when it falls off
Lol.
I'm pretty sure my ceiling would have a 0% chance of holding that (it would basically cover my room's ceiling anyway) and I really don't fancy the morning I discover the built in wake-up call .
Tbh whoever fits it in your ceiling will basically be done for manslaughter sooner or later.
They reinforced the ceiling and from what I understand they made connection points to the projector at wall level.
hmm what game is that PGR?
also i dont think i would want it on ceiling :)
Can't they just have a plug socket in the attic/ceiling? Considering that's where the wires for the wall sockets come from? Seems like alot of bother re-wiring into a wall when really a small socket could be made on the ceiling or inside it (depending if you really feel the need to turn the switch off) :P
This looks well good, haha.
My school has plug sockets on the ceiling for the projectors.
AC is Alternating Current, the opposite of DC (Direct Current) and, yes, it is to do with electrics :P We spent god knows how many lessons on it in GCSE Physics.
I hated eletronics with a passion :P I can wire small things - I just don't give a crap what it's called :P I follow the "a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet" analogy (Shakingspear?) :P
AV cables would of to be within reach, yeah. You can't really get DVD players or consoles that can be stuck on ceilings :P
I wouldn't want to watch TV laying down all the time, but if it could come out and like hang from the ceiling that would be cool when i want to sit instead. :P
I would love this untill I wanted to umm eat or umm sit up then it would become annoying...
I would need another TV in the room!
My parents installed an LCD into their ceiling (jealous me), it was done by having a huge pole connected to the tv run through the ceiling, into the loft, and screwed to a roofing beam.
If you use a longer pole that hangs about a foot underneath ceiling you can get a swivel bracket so you can watch it upright, would look like one of those 4 screens hanging from the roof in the middle of a basketball court.
I wouldn't get one as i'm forever changing my room around.
Aw man, why didn't they just round it up to 100?
