As a MacBook owner I use OS X as my primary OS, but I have to say that I prefer Win 7 :).

I use Windows Vista. (:
I bet I'll be shot for this:P
Unlucky:(
[Windows 7]
Mac OS X 10.5.7
Windows Vista x64 Home Prem
Windows 7 x64 RC1 Ultimate
Ubuntu Server 9.04 i386
So you should have put a multiple choice poll up ;)
I use Mac :)
Windows XP Home SP3
Windows Vista HP SP2
Ubuntu
Win7 and XP ftw.
Lookin to install OSX sometime though, just to see what the hype is about. ;)
Win 7 on a MacBook, I understand it's like blasphemy for some people...
If I was to get a mac of some sort, first thing I would do would be to dual-boot it with Win7...
Windows Vista Home Premium x64 :]
Windows xp and vista. I'll be watching this thread, lets not turn it into a war eh?
itll turn it a war, these threads always do. :P
MattGarner is all over it!
I use windows. I'd use a Mac for photo's. Because although windows has Adobe CS4, Mac can still install this software and also has apeture. Having said that, I still like windows XP, but wouldn't dream of using Vista. For the Mac I still would use the same software and equipment as I would with a PC though. E.g. Word, Notepad, NORMAL mouse (contains a right click). But still I prefer chunky keyboards to ones on a laptop. Even though I use a laptop most of the time. (Runs on Windows XP, preparing to wipe the hard-drive and install Windows XP Barebones.)
So both brands have key features to them, they are very different and it depends what you are using your system for. For the purposes of my computer, I would tend to drift towards Windows and use a Mac for photography hobbies.
Mac is a brand of computer, not an operating system? Unless you conicder, dell, hp and asus operating systems too?
O/S wize i'm happy with whatevers going, mostly linux and windows as they are what i would concider true O/S's (OSX in my opinion is not a true O/S but instead ranked as just a very good console o/s - this is purely becuse like a console o/s osx has no offical support for any hardware other than its own)
I'm also not a big fan of the whole universal toolbar working idelogy, i find keeping my toolbars locked to applictions is far more productive - espeally when working in a multiple moniter set up :)
Linux atm is my fave as i can make it work how i wanted it to, the x windows system also rocks :p Vista comes nexted, followed by xp, and then probably osx for the eye candy :p
Not tried windows 7, which will probs end up pretty close behind linux :)
Windows 7, Vista, OSX.
Windows 7 64 bit xx
EDIT: at Mentor, I really like linux since ive got a program that lets me run windows only programs on it, some compatability program, means less switching between the two now so I can spend lengthy periods of time on it :D
Right updated on the same pc I have:
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Apple Mac OS X (Hackintosh)
Linux Fedora 11 (Still trying to fix again since I broke X. woops :P)
I'm guessing that you speak of Wine....
Moi:
WinXP
WinVista (Currently not on boot loader :P as I am to lazy to restore it)
Win7 (When I get back from hols since the RTM has just been sent to manufactures and it has already been leaked to torrents, although with the beta stuff on it still and technet gets it soon as well)
Ubuntu - Jaunty Jackalope Desktop (9.04)
iPhone OS2.2.1 JB (It's still an operating system :))
OS X 10.5.7 ~ Will be upgrading to Snow Leopard when its out.
Windows Vista Home Premium ~ Will be upgrading to Windows 7 when its out.
At work I use Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit!
Its 100% true though mate.
99% of OSX users go on about how OSX is the best thing to the world since electricity. Even if they donīt really like it, its all they talk about. I would have said the same thing as if it was JB and seriously I am not exactly friends with him..
IMO it's ridiculous to even think that Vista could be better than OS X. OS X is faster, more secure and more stable. It's not fair to say "all OSX users think OSX is the best thing since electricity ba bla" because there's Microsoft fanboys who would do the same.
And I'd just like to note (especially for Professor-Alex) that I didn't start hating on Vista here. I posted in reply. Amazing, isn't it;)?
