I was just wondering if I should sign up to go since it's in London and I'm like 30/1 hour away from it.
www.tomorrowswebconf.com is the URL

When did they redesign the layout?
I don't think i'll be going. Not really thought about it :P
I'll be going obviously since I'm speaking at it.
How can you go to a web conference?
It looks really good actually, I would go but it means getting a train to London or hitching a car ride (around 30 mins by train, 1 hour+ by car).
LOL. Invent and Awfy are speakers! WIN!
I was strongly consider going but im at a wedding of my familys :(
if only it changed dates :P
I'm going :)
I've got my name down for going but not totally sure if I am going to be able to make it, considering its a huge journey down and back.
Unless someone can pay my plane ticket - no.
Just heard that I have a BBQ on that exact day lol. Typical.
I'm not going even though I'm really close :P
central landannnn
quite close to me but nahh
'discuss and learn about the future of the Internet and Technology industry.' how can they learn about the future of the internet? :P
That's what I thought, unless they're going to discuss about how ISP MB's etc are increasing and such.
Going :)
Not going after I realised it's nothing but a bunch of chumps with no real web experience going to talk about how they think they can perk the internet up with their wacky ideas.
They can't so it will be pointless going.
I don't see what you can talk about though :S
I cant thing of anything that may be remotely interesting...
It'll just be a bunch of up-town s**** wanting to show off their amazing websites and get a bit of publicity for themselves.
Would be nice to know about the topics of what's going to be discussed :/
I don't think anyone is going to plug their website but to offer advice and to just talk on an interesting subject. The speakers/panelists that are going have alraedy made a name for themselves in the industry, whether it be through developing websites, showing entrepreneurial qualities or something else. The speakers will simply be offering their views on the web and some advice on how to get started in the industry.
The organisers (Grant & Rob) knows what people are talking about and so they may post it on the website soon, I don't know.
I can't believe you just said that iApps. You were the one that in one of your threads said you don't care if you loose money, because it was the governments... not yours - that seems pretty snobby to me.
The conference isn't just about people talking about so called "useless topics" but a chance to get to socialize with other people in the same mindset as you... roughly the same age as well.

That gives you a rough idea about the topics, surely?
Did anyone from here actually go in the end? :P Was a pretty cool conference. Especially since I got to pitch my business to Jason Bradbury, Milo Yiannopoulos and Hermione Way :P
No, but as you know I was Ustreaming.. Got CharlieIsSoCoolLike to answer three of my questions :P
Invent, I heard you might be organizing your own web conference?
Was going to go but the trains went on strike and all :( .
If Invent makes a conference then I may go to that instead :D
I have full permission to go to these whenever the hell I want now, so ill be sure to go to yours if you do one and I can make it :P
Someone should build a skypeasaurus and a run a conference from that
Edit: http://leoville.com/the-skypesaurus-story
I didn't go, I decided to have a coffee and a sandwich instead, much more interesting :)
I would have been there but I was on holiday. Hopefully I'll end up working with Simon on his concert idea (as I have a reasonable venue) or alternatively maybe I will end up with my own one.
did anyone record the conference ?
