No thanks. It's in the style of the cartoon, which I dislike. They need to bring out a game in the dark, adult style of Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns films - the best Batman flicks.

Don't like the art style but the gameplay looks good, so I'l give this a rent.
Meh, too stealthy, don't like it, wont bother buying or renting this.
The only reason there's so much hype around this game is because of The Dark Knight, yet it's styled on the cartoon.
Misawa, you may be right about the hype thing but if youve read the graphic novel of Arckham Asylum youd know its an exceptionally dark, melancholy piece of work. More so than TDK.
The darkest (and best) Batman flicks have been Batman and Batman Returns. I long for a game based on those.Quote:

Knowing that Mark Hamill voiced the Joker is insane. You could never distinguish that it was him in a million years. And Commissioner Gordon looks stupid.
His old looks conflict with his physique, it's mind-boggling on how he looks that way. In the comic books he always looks frail and old, but wise and supportive. The guy who voices him too doesn't sound right, if you know what I mean.Quote:

I didn't even know Hamill voiced Joker in the animated series. Gordon's character card has him in his detective longcoat and hat, he looks decent, but in-game he's built like The Rock with an awfully wooden voice actor.
I started playing the demo then got a 'the disc is unreadable' error. What the hell? But by what cinematics I did see, the game looks very nice.
The demo was so fantastic especially the gameplay but will it include more DC villans other than Joker, Zsasz, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn as in the cinematics it really showed mostly big monsters.
I know that Killer Croc (mutated crocodile wrestler) and Bane (mutated pro wrestler) are in the game. Clayface is probably in it too.
Clayface, Scarecrow and Poison Ivy are all confirmed.
I played the demo and was immensely impressed. The graphics are what I'd expect from a game out now, but the gameplay, specifically the combat system is just perfect
