Today I realised how fair and great HxHD compared to other fansites.
The team is willing to help, stick by ONE set of rules and accept anybody to come in. Unlike some other desks.
I'm sure you'll agree that HxHD really has been at a high these couple of weeks with problems being dealt with so quickly and so preffesionaly and everything running smoothly.
May seem like a bit of a biased post
Nono, I agree with this! Today, I went into another "Lounge" (the fansite will not be named) and I got kicked because I was from Habbox. Quite unfair to be honest.
Help is usually fast now, I always see staff in the desk so thats great. Good work to the whole HxHD team!
It's far from perfect. However, other than this week every time I've been in there it's been pretty busy. I do only go on Habbo once or twice a week so I can't really be the judge of that.
Both times I've been on this week there has only been a few people in there. I think that's because people are more occupied with HxSS which is fair enough I suppose. I'd say the most active staff at the moment are HotelUser and yourself Ben. So both of you deserve special praise for being in there as and when you can. :)

Well tbh divina1998 has spiked the coke machine with crystal meth and it needs changing ;l but yeh it has kinda picked up these past couple of weeks i've noticed.

Unfortunately, I could no longer name all the staff. I think that's both a mix of my lack of activity within the desk but also some staff members not pulling their weight. It's always the same few members of staff. Something maybe management need to review and assess to see if any staff changes are required.

Now being fair I have seen every single one of those in the desk. However, I didn't even know they were all staff. A lot of them just mess about in the room and one of them is actually very rude to members so I would assume they weren't staff. Quite surprised to see their name when I checked staff groups here.
I think some shuffling could be done because some of those aren't in the desk all that much and even when they are they hardly conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. I personally feel HxHD needs some staff who have played Habbo for years and know it inside out.
I'm not taking anything away from the staff but that's how I feel. Also, it really should revert back to applications rather than an out-dated recommendation system which I don't think works half as well. You'd get quite a lot of applications and you would only accept 2/3 trialists - which would ensure you get the best people possible for the positions.
Anyway, HxHD is better than it was a few months ago. We'll see if it can keep that up once the summer holidays have run their course and people are going back to school/collge/work :)

Applications = yes. I don't think you can give trials for the HxHD accurately on how much time people spend in there. I never went into the HxHD before i applied and i was staff for just over half a year and Super Staff for about 4 months of that time. Unlike mod trials where you can see accurate forum records, post reports etc etc.
I don't spend that much time in but when i do i have seen some staff members being rude and i barley see anyone behind the bar i think people just sit in the room because the can't be bother to get the room pass up to get into staff area.

Ever since nvrspk4's HD got changed to Sammeth.'s I think it went extremely down hill. However I think it's perking up again. The activity is really high and normally about 15 people at the minimum in prime times. So well done to them.
Staff activity, again, really high. I can say that HotelUser is probably the most active staff there and is again very helpful. I also think that "afking" in the desk has got a lot better now as well. Help wise, I think has gone down dramatically. I can see many Staff (including Super Staff) who blatently ignore people wanting help or having a good old chat with their mates telling a real interesting story and getting to the person when they're just about to leave - or even worse, they don't even ask them at all. I think this is the main area which needs to be looked at :).
I dont see how you can say that.
Help is always dealt with, if some of us arent its because another staff is and 3 people answering questions can be very confusing.
I don't really see a need for a helpdesk anymore, sure when a few (very few) people ask for helps its given, buts its really just a Hangout
Mwah, there were loads of those threads a while back
basically HxHD is more of a chillout area, but we also offer help hence a smaller desk.
But you should just get rid of the desk, make it into a Room where there is no staff area and then still offer help.. its not like you's sit behind the bars anyways :P

And people arent going to come asking for help in a lounge. HxHD is one of the only decent help desks standing tbh

I agree it has been improved more than it had been but I still think it has gone down considering saying November or such. There Help seemed to be a huge issue, infact I believe Hayley saying something like 85% of your reports go about how much you listen to the questioners (which obviously makes activity important too). Some staff, like you, I think do it pretty well as well a few Normal Staff and of course a lot of the Super Staff. It still has room for improvement though. :)Quote:

Yeah I agree that HxHD needs to be improved. I was just saying that some people never realise the difference between HxHD and the staff to other lounges. And how some people complain how the staff are harsh etc. when if rules were'nt enforced it'd be like this other loungs.Quote:
