Chelsea transfer ban

Just been banned from signing anyone for 12 months. Signed Gael Kakuta from Lens and forced him to break his contract or something.

I was asking a question though. Is it true or not?

I know he's signed, and we've already payed £24million for Lescott so we're unlikely to be looking to buy him now. But I'm just saying. If that was true, then he's going to be a bit gutted as he did want some new signings for Chelsea, and they didn't really make any this season.

Their squad is good enough to cope but when injuries start to hit, they might feel it. They haven't sold anyone or bought anyone from last year. It isn't too bad for them.

It's not because of his age, it's because they forced him to do something to his contract. He got fined £780,000 :O

Wonder if Real Madrid or any other non-English team had done it, would they have the same punishment? :rolleyes:

So, now, are Fifa/Uefa going to do the same to R.Madrid? after all it's been well publicised that a deal was in place with Ronaldo last year that he would move to Madrid during this summers transfer window.

Yes, this is life, but it is also sport, and there is a lot of money to be win or loose ~ all clubs should treated the same, and at this moment in time there is obvious and blatant double standards being given out by Uefa/Fifa towards English clubs compared to foreign clubs.

And no, Chelsea will win the league this year, even with this ban.

Anyway, this ban will get over turned as soon as they go to the courts.

I think you should read the thread, the reason why they have got it is because they MADE-Him, breach his contract.

R.Madrid didnt make ronaldo say, do or sign anything until a transfer request was handed in.

City have done **** all but ask.

Did you do not read it properly? they didn't make him breach it, Chelsea can't make him do anything, he did it of his own accord, because he wanted to go to Chelsea.

R.Madrid, didn't make him, no, but there is lots of speculation that he had made a verbal agreement/signed a pre-contract with R.Madrid a year before the transfer took place, which would make it illegal/tapping up, but will Uefa/Fifa invesitgate this? no, because clubs that aren't based in England get away with everything, remember Fifa moaning about City and Chelsea spending all that money on some players? but they say jack **** when R.Madrid go and spent £130,000,000.00 on TWO players?

What will UEFA and FIFA do next? Remove a Champions League spot from the Premiership? I'm guessing now, Liverpool, United and City have to be careful to see who will get the next ban from Platini, he's probably looking through all our files and history trying to find some stupid little excuse to ban us from something... :rolleyes:
