To be honest its getting a bit tiring hearing of 9/11. It has been 8 years now and people are still commemorating it, how about instead of a minutes silence we each give 1 quid to the armed forces and buy them some decent gear :s

Im talking about anyone who feels patriotic or important to remember 9/11 yet doesnt give a toss about the young men and women dying for the consequences of that date whether its British or American.

Giving a dollar each would not make a difference in the war, when tanks cost millions, and the war cost billions of dollars a year. War has nothing to do with this attack, they attacked a civilin building.. Not a military installment.

I feel it's everybody's right to investigate 9/11 for themselves and draw their own conclusions, but more factual evidence proves different to the official report. I'm not here to shove my opinions down anyone's throats, but that's just what I believe in.

I also agree. The evidence all points to the government. I have watched many videos of the collapse, the crashes and they all show my thoughts.

I don't like this subject, because I will always try to persuade my mates its a conspiracy, and then spend ages showing them videos and clips I've found. If you don't believe it, thats fine, but thats what I think, that it was an inside job, so dont hate me for thinking that and posting this.

I don't hate people who think it was all done by the US Government. I've seen some of the videos about it and it does make you wonder. Although we should still respect the amount of people who died :(

Agreed, peoples thoughts aside, alot of innocent people died that day.

But every dollar helps surely. If everyone took that attitude then there wouldnt be much point in alot of stuff.

I dont really feel anything for what happened about it, just how awful the people much be feeling and have felt. It wsa 8 years ago and I was in year 5 at the time so I dont really remember much. My friend has gone out and got slaughtered today, but then again, its her 18th :P

I don't care if it was an inside job. The fact is thousands died that day and the world watched. I've never seen anything so awful in my life and the I'm not American so I don't even know why I still care.
It was just so horrific, I don't think the world will ever forget.

Did America not take invade Afghanistan because of 9/11? Although it wasn't a military base, it started a war.

I agree. I honestly think the best guy to run a country is the guy who lives down the road, walks his kids to school each day, drops a few pennies in the cup of a homeless person that he passes, works a under appreciated job for little money and he lives his life as an upright, moral citizen. Politics is about corruption, politicians don't want whats best for the country, they want whats best for them. They won't support something unless they are getting something in return for supporting it.

I know, tbh I'm not certain about what's factual and what's not so I don't think I ever formed a definitive opinion. I probably don't want to believe that the nation that the USA is, would do such a thing. If I believed that, I would be pretty scared - especially when I went to New York! :P

Pretext for financial gain and upping the USA into a police station, which, low and behold, it now is. The same happened with Iraq, the WMD ruse was a pretext for an invasion just for oil.

I can't watch programs or videos of 9/11 because the scenes of the planes impacting and the towers collapsing just freak me out totally.

Where have you been for the last few years? I don't remember ever having a minute silence for it, although I imagine I had one the day after and the year after.

I sincerely doubt anywhere in the UK has done anymore Minute Silences beyond that.

why do we dwell on something that happened 8 years ago? Is it cause they were americans?

What about if we spent more time denying Israel the right to bomb international aid to Gaza and the killing of innocent civilians? Are they not worth it?

All to create a one world Government and control as slaves.

Thats a pretty big nutshell, but thats my knowledge as I understand it, so, agree with me or not, thats what I believe.
