That looks relly kwl , never watchd saw be4 as thy look scary,
how can you watch them, they're so scary. i've seen a few but they make me scared lol
I dont think they are scary, they are just gory which doesnt appeal to me one bit. I watched one and not seen the rest tbh and wont be watching this one lmao.
When the original SAW was released with immediate box office success, Tobin Bell was quickly signed to be a part of five sequels, leading up to a concluding sixth film in the series, however this is now dead in the water as SAW VII is coming, and in 3D.
Darren Bousman made a decent sequel with SAW II, and it's gone downhill with each one. Since III, it's been entirely formulaic and violence for violence sake. It's an hour and a half of wafer thin exposition stretched out over the running time, filled with pointless gore and capped off with a predictable twist. It should have been killed off at a trilogy and had a truly lasting impression as a horror franchise in the industry, but instead the franchise that put Lionsgate on the map is going to be continually milked, and the cow's already dry.
Since there seems to be no end for this series, they need to at least hold off and release a film every two years. They have under a year to complete a film from start to finish. They get no time for pre-production, a decent length of time for the shoot, and then utterly rushed post-production. The whole process is rushed, and it shows. It can take up to a year for a film to reach a final cut, and each film is being mistreated by first-time directors who do not have the experience to undertake a production as high-scale as the SAW franchise.
Sweet! Looking forward to this, i'll definately be going to see it.
The other 5 were well good, this looks great too. :)
no i wont watch this 5 was shockingly bad
yeah it's not scary just jumpy and gory = ewww
I love the saw films so I cant wait til this comes out ;D
on the trailer for SAW 5 is said something like "YOU WONT BELIEVE HOW IT ENDS"
what was so good about it? was it how that guy went in the glass box and got lowered down into the floor and the walls caved in squashin that guy..?
ther was too many new people in saw 4&5. i didnt know who they were
This one actually looks decent. Although I haven't seen 5 which it shouldn't really matter but yeahh looks like it may pick up again on this one.
What age rating is it? 18 I'm guessing?
amg halloween 2009 :}!!! CANT WAIT
i thought 5 was the last one :s
i'll go watch it :)
The only reason SAW 2 was decent was because Darren Bousman had the original script before SAW even came into existence, and went to Lionsgate with his pitch at the exact same time as they met with James Wan to discuss a feature version of his 10-minute short of the same title, so they went with Bousman's irrelevant script and had it modified to fit the story of SAW.
I love all of them. Just love them.
Will definitely be going to see Saw VI.
I have never seen a Saw movie and I don't ever intend to, essentially for the reasons stated in the above.
I don't think I've ever seen a horror movie that was actually good. The only things that come to mind are things like The Others, What Lies Beneath and the Chucky films. But you can hardly call them "horror" films and they milked Chucky a bit too much as well I think.
You can call Child's Play a straight up horror, but they descended into comedy with the sequels, exactly like they did with A Nightmare on Elm Street - it began with horror, then each sequel drifted deeper and deeper into comedy, with Freddy Krueger turning from terrifying to goofy.
The first SAW is genuinely a very good film, though.
Bout time the saw series ended if you want my opinion.
The trailer looks really good, although I didn't really understand SAW V. It was a bit confusing.
i found the first two really good, the third decent, the rest are ****
