Broke my rib lmao

Oh god, today must have been the best day of my life. I was playing football with my mates and one of them thinks its funny to rugby tackle me lmao and I got up and it hurt, started feeling both sides and thought it was odd.

Continued playing then after, I started to walk and it began to hurt, couldn't breathe in much or cough. I thought it was just bruised but then my mates made me laugh and it put me in so much pain that I was continiously laughing putting myself in more pain. My friends being who they are made me laugh contiously to the doctors surgery who told me I broke a rib and gave me ibroprofen and paracetamol and said 'Good luck getting to bed mate' and I was like 'CHEERS MATE, really needed that'

Yeah so although its like my 6th time I broke my rib, this had to be the funniest although hurting like hell but my friends making me laugh just got me through it :D

No sports for 6-8 weeks is the bummer.

I love sports, I play for a sunday league and the defence relys on me half the time cause i'm the sweeper aka their second lifes :P

My Manager is yet to know, I am a injury prone person lmao. I'm going to be out till atleast November. So my team is like hating me on fb :P

Thanks :P - Starting to see the not so funny side of this now, I am struggling to stand up after sitting down now... dreading my sleep, thats if I get to sleep.

About 3 months ago, I was on my bike coming down the mountain and went over my handlebars and landed straight on my ribs. Hurt like hell, don't know if I broke them or not as I didn't get them checked out. Killed when I went to bed. Couldn't sleep in certain postions, had to keep my legs straight, couldn't sleep on my back and had to sleep on one side really. Hurt when I got up, when I walked. Don't know why I didn't get it checked out as one of them is kinda sticking out now. Ah well.

Might of cracked/fractured them, sounds like it. If it was broke you'd be in so much pain your body would tell you to go to the hospital cause it would know that you'd be at risk of puncturing your lungs :P

Mine gave me instinct to feel my ribs, usually i'd ignore things like it but I knew something didn't feel right :P

Got 2 hours sleep last night, kept rolling over and getting a sharp pain... I can't even have the fan on at night, I have to keep warm because I am at a high risk of developing a chest infection.

I take it you are rugby? Football is more creative anyways than running in a diagonal line.

That is the worst I've head for rugby. Football is about seeing who can act the best by diving on the floor. Who can cry the most and hold their leg on the floor.

Rugby is about who has the most guts and who has determination.

I actually played both when I was at school. And yeah football is probably more creative.

got the same problem, dr gave me ibropofin or w.e, but didn't tell me if it was properly broke, didn't get it xrayed, but been 3 weeks and its still in pain.

I got a charging headbut to my chest which triggered it.

ouch indeed, mines still hurting. i am getting about 3 hours sleep every night so far so im stopping by starbucks next door every morning a lot.

i wanna go for a jog tomorrow but i think it might make it worst, i dno ):
