That's a rip off of Funny Games (1997).
I've never seen a film that's scared me, in all honesty.
How weird is this? I'm watching the strangers right now.... through my fingers lol.
the strangers? scariest film you've seen? seriously?
Lol The Strangers is pretty cool. The Blair Witch Project scared me when I watched it. I was really young though.
Pokemon 2000, god it was scary, I **** one!
Nah :), I can remember being really scared the first time I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas, but considering I was like 5 at the time lol, but since then none have really been all that scary to me, either that or I can't remember any scary movies at the moment.
i'm not a fan of horrors at all, so I don't watch scary movies.
but when I was about 8, was watching From Dusk till Dawn. scared the **** out of me, laugh all you like.
I know The Ring is like not scary at ALL, but I saw it when I was REALLY little, and it scared me so much. :(
Awful remake of a great Asian film.
The Strangers has just finished, wasn't really that gripping at all... Now getting ready to watch the new Friday The 13th, will get back to you when I've seen it. :P
So awful.
I haven't been scared by a movie for many years now, but back in the day when I was like ten or so movies with aliens in used to scare me. Those damn aliens. I thought Signs had some pretty scary scenes, such as when you see the aliens leg in the field or the silhouette on the roof, but now I'm a man those scenes got nothing on me! I don't know why but I just had a fear of aliens, and subtle, mysterious scenes where you know the aliens are there but don't see them just brought out the fear. It's movies that slowly build up the fear without revealing too much that I used to find scary. The in your face horror movies that rely on gore just never did it for me. For example, The Thing was quite mysterious and I liked that about it, but I find it absolutely disgusting and to this day have been unable to watch it all the way through.
I don't believe in scary films, just films that make you jump with 0.2 milisecond SCREECHES or brightness.
Hannah Montana The Movie, was so ****tin it because the reporter was gunna tell the world that she was Miley Stewert but then he din't and was so happy like. Because it would have been the end??? you get me??
Bambi i was crying i was so scared.
blair witch project for me
I remember being scared of something called "WishMaster" :( it was so so crap though. Carrie, The Thing, American Werewolf in London (think it was London), they prob wouldn't scare me anymore though, nothing recent has neither.
I used to hide when I watched ET
The Shining messes with your brain after watching it, not nice at all.
then add on the oringinal texas chainsaw massacre
I've always been freaked out by zombie & vampire things for some reason.. I don't know why. But when I was about 5/6 I always had nightmares about zombies & vampires taking me away and eating me.. I do not know why.. Scariest film: The Exorcist..
Probably the devils rejects, It's not that scary, it's just based on serial killers and that could happen which makes it scarier if you know what i mean? Its probably more sick than scary tbh.
Vacancy scared me. Mainly because it has happened before. :( It's terrible to think that the events of the movie may be being carried out somewhere in the world right now.
Slashers like Halloween and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre always scared me. While the entire film isn't that scary, this scene from the Exorcist 3 is imo the perfect horror movie scene. You have to watch it all the way through to get into the atmosphere.
the grudge =O
but only because my bedroom is in the loft where the water tank is kept, so I hear all these scary noises every time someone goes to the toilet =(
George A. Romero's original masterpiece, or the so-so 2004 remake written by my buddy James Gunn?
I'm surprised you've seen The Exorcist III, Ifuseamy. Brilliant film. I prefer it even to the original. It should be a stand alone film with a seperate title it's so good.
only film I've ever been scared of is 'Candyman' when I was about 5 lol
white chix
Yeah this is especially true at the cinema. It's only the sudden loud tone in the music that makes you jump.
Bambi was my favourite movie as a kid, I must have cried. Easily the best Disney film though ;). Have you noticed how it's *NEVER* on TV? I had it taped off the TV when I was like 3 and I have not once ever seen it on TV in my life since :S.
The only thing that scared me about films was going to bed afterwards and thinking about the "baddies" or whatever was in the film. I'm not gonna lie either, I'll probably look away from psycho gory stuff.. like if some weirdo is cutting someone up. The only other thing I generally don't like is the way there's always a freaky little girl.. who often hums a tune :(.
Other than that, I've never really seen any of the ones people usually name like The Ring or Saw or any of those, they just don't appeal to me.
When I watched the first Grudge (on my own O: ) it was probably the first horror movie I had seen so I thought it was soo terrifying. But Shrooms is like, dam. I think it's so scary. I'm not a fan of things creeping up on you :(
Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, I was most scared at them as I ever was at any other movie, the witches in them were so scary I was watching clips the other day from it and they still make me think 'pure evil'. :(
SAW/SCREAM etc are scary, but SAW is more sick I would say.
Having seen both, I cant get my head around poor special effects in the original. I found myself thinking that's so fake, rather than appreciating the frights. I did the same when I watched Toy Story recently. Except the frights bit.
Forgot to say, I had to turn away in Creep, when theres that woman strapped to the chair. Very rarely do I have to do that.
Scream I guess. Don't usually find these movies all that scary.
Well ,mine maybe The Grudge 2,made by japan and One Missed Call .
Cannibal Holocaust and several other cannibal movies. Scary plus gross.
