..there was a shop called 'Woolworths'.
You've probably seen the Facebook groups like this, but I think this one's the best :D. Post some others you know or can think of!

WERE NOT POLITICALLY INCORRECT.
A linguistics professor was lecturing his class one day. 'In English', he said, 'A double negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative.'
A loud voice from the back of the room piped up, 'Yeah, right.'
tbh there were never only 150 Pokémon, Mewtwo is #150 and based on #151, Mew

Okay then... ... So where do u find these facebook groups I've never seen one
OK, in the search bar on Facebook type 'When I was your age' and you should see a few examples.
The idea is something which was around when you were younger but is no longer around today. So you could say to a kid, 'when I was your age....'.
It's only funny when you use something everyone's heard of and that was a big thing in its time but kinds today might not have heard of, or at least in a few years time, hence the Woolworths example, (to those outside the UK: Woolworths was a big retailer that went bust last year). In fact a lot of them might only be relevant to those in the UK.
So posting stuff like, 'there was no electricity' or something, misses the point. Perhaps the whole thing would only be humorous to slightly older people, which would probably explain some of the misguided replies.
Here's one, 'When I was your age, there were only four TV channels' :P.
Woolworths still exists oddly enough I shopped there yesterday.
Maybe u need to updat the first post today that -.- and did m first reply piss u off?
Oh well like I said,
I don't understand the second part of your post but I won't be discussing it.
Garion's Pluto example is perfect btw. Most of us grew up being taught that Pluto was the furthest planet from the Sun in our galaxy, but it has since been downgraded :).
Yes, did my first post (we didn't have cars )

I didn't have any trouble.
we didn't have to change things to be more 'appropriate' for other religions/backgrounds
Wow lucky, I get this crap come up all the time on mine. There are a few people on my list who seem to spend all day looking for groups that have some slight relevance to them so they can join. Seriously there's like "getting nice texts makes me happy" groups as though it's not obvious to life.
When I played Tomb Raider, I locked the butler in the freezer
