i'd probaly go for is there any life in the universe other than us and beyond bacteria.
just because it'd joy me to know and try to think what it'd look like if it was answered yeah :D

Erm, to me the obvious one is 'how did the Universe, and more specifically the Earth, begin?'. Although I'm a tiny bit scared of the answer being impossible to understand because it would probably drive a person insane.

Most probably something like "What events in history have been hidden from us?". At some point some enormous things will of been covered up by governments and I'd love to know what some of them are, I doubt it's anything like aliens though tbh.
