Yeah, shame they have their hands tied by Sulake. Great to see they've made a £50 donation :)
It was infrequents idea, it does say in the announcement :D
Yeah, thanks, it was a really nice thing to do! :)
I just donated £5 off my phone to them - not much, but hopefully it will help!
very thoughtful, nice idea jake :)
i'll donate when i find my phone :@
It's kinda stupid on Habbo's behalf tbh, stops us trying to help other people when they clearly need it, but we can't pay for the site to stay up if we were to have a 100% to VIP charity, so close to the christmas month. But anyway, keeping it as a positive thread..
A very generous donation from Habbox and I hope you lot donate too :) Seeing all the 'hospital beds' out on the street earlier on the news with no electricity or proper medical equipment and whatnot was just like wow.. without seeing things like that, most people probably just think oh, that doesn't affect me, it's not important - but it is.
Also, a 2 week old baby was rescued from a destroyed house and had spent around half of her life trapped in there after her parents had given up hope. Thought I'd end with a nice story there!
1 week trapped wow.
good idea, but i won't be donating nevertheless.
Just donated £5 via sms. Every little helps!
i had a notification about this
I'd love to donate, strapped for cash atm though :(
I will be donating tomorrow when I get paid
So inconsiderate of haiti to be in need so close to xmas :@@@@@@
Good idea although sucks about sulake
My school raised $10,304 In 1 day for haiti good cause tbh.
I'm gonna dig up a few bucks to donate :) I think its important that we help them because they're in such dire need of it, they're the poorest country over here and this just makes it worse. Every cent counts. I've got no cash and I dont get more until my birthday, I only get cash twice a year usually unless I do something to earn it or sell stuff, but they really need it. good luck to everyone in haiti♥ and to everyone who donated, you're amazing people.
Thats extremely kind and thoughful of you :)
Igave the £6.77 change from my lunch to the haiti donation buckets in saisburys earlier :( cant afford no more but I am sure like all have said, if you look after the pennies, the pounds and millions will look after themself.
Really good idea, it's gutting that Sulake have made it a lot more awkward for us to do our bit, though. A friend and I donated a combined £100 the other day... I was drunk, otherwise I certainly wouldn't have done it. Nevertheless, I felt good about myself :P.
I guess we should just send the people in haiti alot of booze **** food and water
