It gets annoying after a while

How do you change it at all/
On bottom right click the earth icon, then choose 'Leet Speak' from the drop down.
Don't have an eart icon in bottom right, just chat

Then scroll to bottom left where it says English UK and click it. Then choose Leet Speak its on the 2 column half way down-ish.

but those pirate,upside down and leet speak are quite cool :)
The upside down one is annoying, takes ages to work out what something says.
I had to change mine back after about 5 minutes
