there's so many questions in my head, i want to watch the next episode nao! ughh. since when has skins even been like this?
I really don't this series so far, it's just been like..bleh.
the storyline is just preposterous and this episode was oh so boring (minus the ending which was slightly entertaining but still too unrealistic which made it annoying). i hope the next series has a better cast and more interesting storylines, but i hoped for the same for this series and it's been pretty piss poor.
I liked how they had no music on at the end, I sat there for like 30 seconds waiting for the 'Next Time' bit, sat in silence. hahaha. Anyway, the ending was ridiculous but it had me sat on the edge of my seat non the less.

I hate skins now, as Oli said it's completely lost any realism it once had. They just throw together house parties, sex scenes and teen angst and hope that people buy into it. I don't feel any sympathy for any of the main characters except maybe Cook because he isn't overtly annoying.
Also the fact that not one of the main characters can act to save their own lives doesn't contribute much to the show. Take a look at Misfits, purely in an acting sense, and you'll see how E4 teen actors should be acting. I swear sometimes I feel like they're just reading their lines off a card on skins.
I'll be glad when it's over next week for good, hopefully Tony will make a cameo appearance although I doubt that'll happen.

I don't care about this programme any more season 1 amazing season 2 cassie carryed it season 3 average and this series was absolute *%£$%£$%^ but umm yeah I knew someone would die but presumed itd be the lesbian twin :)
Agree with everyone who says this series is poor.
The whole effy thing has gone way too far.
As for the death; 'What the **** am i doing in your house' pretty much summed it up. What was he doing there? And why didnt he smash the door or dropkick jiohn who was SLOWLY walking towards him.
I have now lost all faith in skins. Every "second season with the same cast" ends up crap.
Season 1 - Amazing, loved it so much,
Season 2 - Wow. Just why?
Season 3 - New cast, pritty funny if abit unrealistic.
Season 4 - Quit now, please.

The only reason I watched the last episode (reason I didn't want to is that all this series has been piss poor) was to find out what would happen to that dr and freddie, and then it stopped!!!!!!!!!!
to be fair i actually really enjoyed this series, i dont care how unrealistic it was. its tv, does it have to be an accurate representation of real life? i thought last weeks episode was really powerful, and the final scene of this episode built me up sosososo much and i was on the edge of my seat for that terrible ending. and it was one of those moments where i just sit there in shock for a bit watching the credits waiting for more but it never came, disappointed.
**** ending. Would of preferred to actually SEE Cook beat the **** out of him, and this episode didn't feel like the end of an era for the second generation - which I'm sure many would of hoped it would be.
Disappointing. Think it's fair to say Foster died though.

I dont think people realise exactly how it ended. After the downer for pretty much the whole season for each character, the final episode showed them all happy after a depressing first half. Panda and that french dude ended up back together, going to harvard. naomi and the twin got back together, and shes going goldsmiths. Effy wasn't crazy anymore, cooke finally got to have a reason for beating someone up. The only person which it ended badly for was freddie, but his killer still got, seemingly, killed
The whole point of skins is that its written, directed and produced by teenagers.. of course its not going to be as well acted or produced as any other thing? I think the first and second series was produced by adults wasnt it? and the third and fourth by teens?
I actually think that this series was alright..
Also, freddies sister to be the next lead?

Also what pissed me off is the "Next week" part last week really bigged it up to be this kind of "find freddie" big dramatic episode, when in all fairness it was boring and terrible.
Well that sucked. Freddie's sister told Cook that there was something wrong, and Cook thought the same too. So what do they do? They have a party in Freddie's shed. Ending was alright. I'll still watch the next series as will a lot of other people on this forum
