and obsessions.
What do these two words mean to you?
Passion is something you really want or really like or really want to achieve / do
Obsession is something you over do and talk about non stop.
Thank's Saurav, very helpful. Any one else? :P
Passion is something you love. Obsession is something you love too much..............
Passion is cleaning your house. Obsession is cleaning it all the time...........
Passion is enjoying a hobby. Obsession is letting it take over your life to the detriment of yourself and others.
deja vu

Thanks Rosie and Special, and I posted about it before but it was a bit different Tara :)
I think a passion is something like for me it'd be reading or writing :)
And an obsession is something like a game, that you get addicted to. :)
Thanks Gibs!
Sex is both my obsession and passion
I think it's pretty clear now haha.
Passion is a feeling. When your passionate for soemthing or someone, you genuinely feel good & strongly about it. For example, if you are very passionate about a certain thing, you will defend it at all costs. It is something you love, you want, you may even live for.
Obsession is become quite a negatvie thing, although it can be very harmless. You may be obsessed with something like a game, you play it a lot. This could quickly turn into an addiction, something you cannot live without. I think addicition and obsession are two different things.
Thanks big boy :] x
This sums it up for me. My personal examples would be football for a passion because I love it and it is very important to me, but I wouldn't be able to name every player of every club or any statistics so I wouldn't be considered as obsessed. However back in the day, Habbo was probably an obsession because it was undoubtedly the thing I spent most time with outside of school. I had no personal emotions or feelings about it, it was just a game which I played for fun, but played a lot and knew everything about. :L
