I've been (by a reliable family friend) told that Asus motherboards are unreliable.
So I need an ATX AM3 motherboard that's similar to the Asus M4A77TD Pro.
I CANNOT go over £70. This is my absolute limit.

ASUS are perfectly fine?? I've been using an ASUS P5K Premium WiFi-AP Black Pearl LGA775 (LOL) Motherboard for two years now, actually got it as a replacement for a DOA Gigabyte MoBo
This was my thought. I'd been recommended to use an Asus board by 2 other tech forums AND HxF. So I'm tempted to stick with it. I'm just a bit cautious about DOA bits and going over my budget. lol.
Go for it tbh, if any of it is DOA places like Ebuyer are pretty nice people to deal with :)
I have a Gigabyte AM3 board, very nice. Check out the ones on ebuyer.
Right. I've stuck with the Asus.

Best AM3 board for the money.
I'm using an Asus P5k... no problems with it whatsoever :S
