A recent update for the Dungeoneering skill has generated a bug that causes significant increases in how much XP players were gaining. As a result, we shall temporarily be closing down the servers until this issue can be resolved.
When the servers come back up (with this bug fixed), we shall also be rolling back everyone’s entire save game state to the point before this bug was introduced (which should be no more than about 30 minutes’ worth). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Atm it's rolled back about 28 hours as people are back to lvls they got yesterday.

The leaderboards got rolled back to like 1AM, they'll automatically update when you log on after the rollback, you haven't lost anymore than the 30 mins to an hour they mentioned.

LMAO. The xp error was actually epic. 72-74 runecrafting in 93 deaths. Too bad I can't keep it though. >_>

oh then that's kk, I actually didnt notice the bug so never actually got very far. probably lost 1k dungeoneering xp, big woop :D -sigh of relief-

I think it resets to just before the system update, so anything between that and the crash is gonna be gone, I didn't get much done at all thankfully.

The High Scores tables have been rolled back to 1am GMT. This only effects the high scores temporarily. As soon as people log back in, the accurate figures (from 17:24 GMT) will be displayed.

I hope everyone who abused the bug will get perm banned.
Why?
1.Because you know it was a bug and kept using the bug to gain exp.
2. People who abused some other bug in game got also perm banned and do never get a second chance.
So or Ban those people who abused it or give all the other people who abused a bug a second chance.

They're banning accounts according to 2 player mods lol

It's a shame that everyone has to suffer for this one issue, but that's an unacceptable level of xp to gain and for many people, they gained a huge amount of xp without even noticing. You cant ban someone for abusing a bug they didn't even know about. Bans are not appropriate for this kind of issue, but we did consider alternatives to the rollback.

With something like this its hard to know who was abussing, If someone was just crafting runes its not thier fault lol.

Exactly. That's how I discovered the bug. Then I stopped playing it.

I abused it an what if you find a glitch which is gonna get you 70 lvls fast as u aint not gonna are you unless your a bit mentally challenged in the head

98% of people wouldn't as they know theres a 70% chance of you getting banned.

ie. fally masacre a few years ago, people could pk anyone anywhere everyone participating got banned.

i did get a 2 week ban from the construction glitch though when i made 80m through chest methord haha

i somewhat doubt you made 80m as the stuff you posted you had in other thread is like 15m lol

I only did around 2M rc xp. Too bad it was rolled back though.
