The new Ricky Gervais film is set in a area I drive through almost everyday in Reading called Cemetery Junction..

the closest thing to being in a show was my town was an answer on the big fat quiz of the year. it wasnt actually the answer though, they were just writing down random stuff. what a claim to fame that is
erm my friends dad was on come dine with me which showed my town and ****. also beppe in eastenders left walford for here lolol and an acquaintances friend was on worlds strictest parents and thus my town was shown for a bit i think. besides that i dunno. was jokes watching uk border agency earlier today tho and some illegal immigrant claimed to go to a local uni if i heard correctly but got shipped back to india or wherever instead.

I think there's been a reference in coronation street cos the local media went 'OMG WOW' and it was only a line. that's how desperate we are for some recognition :p
Skins is filmed in Bristol and referenced a couple of times (I think).
ermmm i think Hollyoaks was once filmed on our high street.

but doc martin is filmed near it and i saw them filming part of it at a train station near there one time
and yesterday topgear were filming near there. everyone's facebook status was about it so i was like yeh ok. can tell nothing interesting happens down there..

yh the show 'SOME MOTHERS DO AVE EM' from the 70s was filmed here
AND ALSO in this village called cardington which is practically in bedford, some bits from batman begins + the dark knight were filmed ;)
and not tv lol but yh take that rehearsed for some shows they were doing at the same place that batman was filmed and then one of them decided to go in a bedford nightclub in which wiley talks about in his song 'TAKE THAT' where he says I WAS IN A BEDFORD NIGHTCLUB MAN SAW MEMBAA OF THE GROUP TAKE THAT. nd take that stayed at a hotel near me. so exciting.

Well quite alot of things here in bristol.
we got casualty, skins, a few come dine with me and a whole episode of panarama about one of the areas within bristol but thankfully i dont live there.

My town has been on GMTV for having the most Tesco's. We have 6 Tesco's within an area of 5x5 miles. It was hilarious watching it.
I live in Canada. I don't think there are any shows made here!
Oh I just remembered another. The BBC did a series where by Michael Portillo took over the life, family and income for a week, of a single mother who lives near me and whose kids went to my school.
