fried robin egg mmmmmmm
lol, i'll see if I can get a couple of pics when they hatch and maybe of the robin sitting on them.
set up a webcam or something :p
nice pic :)
good luck with the kids x
Awesome :) Robins are great birds, they're quite tame too. It might be worth seeing if you can leave worms and/or seeds a few feet away from the nest, and seeing if you can befriend it :)
That's awesome! Do the BBC do a Summerwatch? I know they do a Springwatch and Autumnwatch, they would probably be interested in setting up cameras in your shed if they did :P
thats pretty cool, nice pic :)
kwl, but i thought they normally nest up in trees? I hate all types of birds especially pigeons
Thats really cool! A couple of months ago, I kept on having hedgehogs pass through my garden like everyday at the same time for around a week :)
Caught one once, put it in a box (no we werent cruel) but it in a nice warm place, gave it loads of yummy food. The next day, we let it go and it kept on going back inside the box lol. I was like :'(

Managing to get a decent picture isn't easy, its on a high shelf and in low light levels. Didn't want to turn the flash on while it was there though.
that's rly cute.
Wow i'm blind... I just took a closer look at the first photo and realised theres 5 eggs not 3!
They've hatched!
In my garden, we have the back seperated from the part nearer to the house with trellaces and we have a small bird house hanging from one side. They've recently hatched in there too and we see the 'parents' every day now, going in and out :P
My brother's red tail buzzards have chicks :) They're so cute, and one is really nosey :P I'll try and get a picture :)
Have all of the eggs hatched? Or did some never make it?

Sorry its a bit hard to see, phone camera.
That's so cute! Is it still only the one that has hatched?
Makes sense. Do you provide it with any food, like leaving seeds near by?
Or do you just not intervene?
Aww that's cute. Great pictures too :)
ive never seen a baby bird :[ like a fresh one :L
Image from today - sorry its such bad quality but I don't want to go near the nest so i'm using zoom and its very dark.
You should be able to see an eye and a beak, the mother was out getting food when I snuck the shot.

Loving the updates, keep 'em coming :)
Time for an update!
One baby was carried out by the parents after dieing in the nest, and another one got snatched by a cat. So that leaves about 3 left if those ones are ok that is.
Did you see those things happen? :O
Omg, why didnt you protect them from the cat!
About 6 years back there was a nest in my shed, it was cute watching them learning to fly, they'd fly into the living room windows etc, but it was a shame, we found a few dead under things in the garden (they'd go under there and get stuck) :(
We have Blue ***'s that come back to our bird box every year :D
Not sure how Robins react, but be careful not to scare the parent away :P
Awh ;)
You set your cat on them, don't lie. ;lll
