I highlighted my hair once but i've never properly dyed it ;D

Once tried to dye my hair brown at home but nothing happened.. my hair was still black after that.

I have always mine dyed since I started high school. I had highlights when I was younger but when I was 14 I decided to get a full colour and I've had it dyed 3 times this year so far. If my hair started getting in a bad condition I'd stop though.

I don't dye my hair because i am a guy and its much much too short, at the longest, its maybe 2.5-3cms? Anyway, aren't YOU meant to bleach it first and then dye it?Quote:

once I used semi-permanent like chestnutty colour which was basically mine with more red tones. There are like no pics of me back then so idk what I looked like. Thinking about doing it again but I don't want it to like go green when I get my blonde highlights in the sun :(

I've dyed it semi-permanent a couple of times. I just fancied it a bit darker really but I haven't dyed it in ages.
once, in march. i hate it now. waiting for my hair to grow faster so i can chop off the dyed bits.
I've had red highlights put in, but it looked awful with my original hair colour.
Plenty of times in the past. First dyed it blonde a few times, then tried dying it black with blondish highlights.
Although I've kept my natural colour for over a year now :].
