i dont get how i got 1 point with the Germany vs. Australia game, I posted a 3-0 prediction, i thought i might've at least got 2 points.
No. You got the right result, a win for Germany, but you didn't get the right Goal Difference and you didn't get the exact result.
If you said: 5-1 for Germany, you would have got 2 points. If you said 4-0 you would have got 3.

You predicted 3-0? You get 1 point for predicting the correct winner but without the correct scoreline or goal difference. If you had predicted 5-1, that would be a goal difference of 4 which would have been correct (as it was 4-0) but still not the exact scoreline so you would have got 2 points :)Quote:

Grr I've got 1-1 on NZ v Slovakia and I was gonna have another 1-1 on Ivory Coast v Portugal but predicting them as draws is a waste really because you have less chance of getting 1 point - as you will only get it if it turns out to be a draw but say for example NZ win, you would get it for any prediction as long as their goals are higher than Slovakia's.

Yes, but if it is a Draw you automatically get 2 points instead of 1 as the GD is always the same so it's about even.
I suppose, but the likelihood of getting the 1 point on a non-draw feels so much higher than getting 2 on a draw.
Anyway I've just changed my Brazil v NK prediction from 3-0 to 6-0 lmao :P Might even get a bet on that later
