Hi, just a quick question. The flags next to your names, which flags do you think are nicer?

I didnt make them btw, i just found them on another site and thought they would look nicer. I dont mind either way, just wanan see what people think...
i prefer the 'newer' ones. they look much better than the current ones which are quite standard and plain.
I think they're nicer, but I think that it might cause some alignment issues :o unless they edit some padding in around.
certainly look tidier.
I think they are too small and the size is the reason we didn't use them :)
or else because you made the current crap ones.so far everyone but you seems to think they are nicer

The members don't run HabboxForum and whilst members opinions are listened to on the whole, the final decision rests with Forum and General Management, and this is something we are not going to change mid-sale of the product. We've sold enough of it, so it's not a major problem. If we hadn't sold any then I'd be taking feedback and looking at how we could sell some.Quote:

They are nice flags but there is no point in changing them now. A little bit small, but I'm sure if we ever need some more flags then we will look into other alternatives if needed.
the graphics team would've happily helped you to make some 'better' ones, had you asked. :)

The little ones look all blurred and would look silly next to larger names in the postbit. Aside from that they look far less habbo-ey than the current ones too. It's not a particularly important aspect of the forum - and could all too easily have just been bog standard donator in a different colour like all the other occasions so its far nicer to have something to make it different :P
can i ask.. why is the england vertical stripe so fat compared to the hoizontal..

I agree that they look too small and also the current ones that we have are very bold colours so I think that they look better with the donator. The other ones are almost too pale looking in my opinion.

If you'd shown me these before we launched it, it would probably be different but as Matt has said, there's no point now, although I will bookmark that page incase we need to use any of those for the finalists-donator.
Doesn't matter if they are too small or from a free site. Larger versions can easily be found on the internet and re-sized accordingly. If people are happy with the size graham posted, the alignment problem can be sorted by putting the flag on the center of a larger transparent background.
What Habbox could easily do with Graham's idea is twist is to make more money and make everyone happy. Majority who were going to buy the WC Donor have already bought it. Why not re-release them with the flags Graham has suggested (but obviously as a new usergroup). So both user groups will exist and some might end up buying the new ones too for the sake of it.

kk on topic, I agree that they're too small but they do look nicer, so finding bigger versions like people have already done by looks of things would be better.
Lol I must be going senile but I'm sure I saw 'Forum God' with world cup vip (invisible) long before it was released to the public, hardly last minute really and the gfx dept. are really fast anyway! :D
We aren't going to be changing the current ones as they have sold in a large amount - thus beneficial for the forum.
We are releasing the semi-finalists and I may use the larger flags posted by kk. for these sets :)
Following tonight's performance, the England one won't be on sale then :P
