The first one scared me tbh but i'll definitely going to see the 2nd one! :)
I've heard the 2nd one is supposed to be better than the 1st one.
i want to see it, though the scariness gets taken out of it in the Harrow cinema when all i repeatedly heard were cries of "MANZ GONNA GET SHANKED" and "BREH SHE'S GETTING MERKED ALIE"
they didnt get thrown out and tbh it is north west london so they dont really have to pretend
I hope its better than the first one.... i was disappointed. Everyone made out that it was scary when like the last 5 mins i was abit scared when she jumped at the camera, getting dragged by the demon was hilarious :L
I hope it is better tbh. I still defo want to see it.
Will it be based on the same couple? Because they were like 'the' most annoying couple i've ever had to watch ;l
can't wait for it to release!
Seeing how Mica's dead, no. It is rumoured that it will follow the woman, though. The teaser trailer shows a dog and a baby, rocking chair, door opening, dog barking. If Paramount handled it as cheaply as Oren made the first, it'll be good. By the way, don't believe the hype when you see a film, else it may be a let down. Paranormal Activity wasn't great, but it was decent and a highly commendable effort on a $15,000 personally-raised budget and made by pretty much just one guy.
Never seen the first one whats it acutely about?
A student couple's house being haunted by paranormal phenomena, and them recording it, hence the verite style.
The first one was so crap, and the trailer for this is crap too.
It's got a good build up and stuff, but it didn't make me jump.
There is actually already a other one, its called paranormal entity its wuite good but not as good as actvity
It's not a remake...
Paranormal Entity is NOTHING to do with Paranormal Activity, it's a HORRENDOUS rip-off mockbuster made by The Asylum, the same company responsible for Transmorphers, Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, etc.
Paranormal Activity is the 2nd worst film I've ever seen.
You definitely need to get around to seeing more bad films if that's the second worst you've ever seen.
It was OK for the budget, but on a par with other films? No chance.
Dan in Real Life and The Blair Witch Project are joint first.
It's probably the best looking ultra-low-budget film of all time.
Never seen Dan in Real Life and don't want to. I agree that Blair Witch is awful.
Or maybe you just don't like cinema verite - there's the trend there with Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity.
Probably. I just felt Paranormal Activity was overhyped, so cliché and plot holes all over the place. For example, at the start of the film you see him playing about with a knife in the kitchen, close-up of the knife... oh I wonder what's going to happen in this film... end of the film and boom.
For the budget, it's fantastic and the director should be snapped up but in comparison to other films that made it to cinema etc... it's poor.
the first one one ok so i'm looking forward to the second one :)
Dan in Real Life is a good film! I don't know how you think it's the worst film ever made? I think Adam'll agree (as he's the one who showed me it haha) that Birdemic is the worst film ever made.
Dan in Real Life.
Me and a male friend went to watch it, needless to say everyone thought we were homosexuals i.e looking/staring/waiting to see homosexual touching. Not only that, it was just bad. I'm going to watch it again though, it might be better second time around.
Misawa:
I take it you pirated it as you saw an alternate ending, not one used in the theatrical release.
No I just bought the original.
As a games writer, this is completely out of my league but I made a point a while ago that if you make an indy game then you don't want any mercy. You want it to be valued against every other big budget money money game, and not be simply let by because you're an indie developer. You've put your heart and soul into the game and it's sort of defeating when people say "well... for the budget and indy-ness it's very nice.", if a game sucks then it sucks. I don't know whether it's the same with film, maybe Adam/Misawa could elaborate on this, but I think it's wrong to say 'For the budget, it's fantastic'.
Yes, of course, for an semi-Indy film it's pretty darn good - but I'd rather describe it against full money money cinema. Which I guess you were doing at the end of your comment.
Exactly. It's demeaning and disrespectful to it otherwise.
The first one was terrible so hopefully this one is better.
It was crap and i dont get how people were saying the scariest film of all time however there were a few bits which made me jump but overall it wasnt rly scary.
The ending was crap her rocking back an forwards for like 12 hours till the polie come and shoot her? wtf..
Yh its a diff ending to theatrical there is 2 versions this 1 wasn't shown in cinemas
I so can't wait to see this. I wish I could pre-order tickets!
There's a baby and a dog in it so i doubt it's the same couple. Plus the guy was killed lmao. I think it'd be good. First was brilliant in the cinema
