.... or how you worre it .. say with the "chunky' bit shhowing or the narrow bit!!?
i have it so the chunky bit is showing, i dont really go round with just my shirt on though, i either have a jumper on or in the summer we can wear polo shirts so yeah.
So that the chunky bit's showing. I have about 6-8 inches showing usually (A)
Anyone else have just the thin bit seen then!!?
I used to have the chunky bit showing and we had to show 6 red strips when I was at school!
I wear my ties at a normal length because I am not a 12 year old girl.
Clip on tie and it goes to about normal if that makes sense :)
short chunky
I am not a 'cool ego' person so I manage to do my tie properly, look smart and formal, not looking like I can't make my tie :)
four black stripes and a huge knot.
I didnt really care how i had mine, so however i did it was how i left it
4 stripes year 7-9. Then a black tie that I liked to wear the same length when people decided to go 2 inches eyar 10-11.
Have it tied at a normal length, with the chunky bit showing. But then have the actual tie bit tucked into my shirt above the second button. So you can just see the knot. ayee
about 4 inches & proper fat lol
before i left lol
I wore mine properly because wearing it short and fat made people look stupid
They told us to have 15 stripes, 7 blue and 8 gold, but I had 3 lol.
1 blue 2 gold.
Interesting question ;) the bottom of my tie was about where my bellybutton is.
the knot of my tie however was about the middle of my chest
(knot was always rather chunky)
I think he means the knot, like if the knot if tight, it's for 'nerds' and if it's fat and big it's for 'cool' people.
Basically in my school, all the pikeys and plastics and all those people have big knots and short ties to try and be cool. They got lots of detentions. The smarter people in our school wore our tie 'peanutted' because that meant it was at the proper length, thus avoiding having to spend an hour after school every day.
really? at my school ties didn't mean anything. everyone, including me, just wore them normally.
short and chunkyyy
I used to have my tie normal length.
But then we got clip on ties.
At school, very short and fat.
Very short and fat just makes you look like a Year 7 school girl, guys who did it got ripped on and rightly so. I just had quite an average length tie and a not too tight or fat knot.
Our school had a unique way of how we wore our jumpers. We used to have the back of the collar of the shirt showing with the front tucked in. You couldn't even see the tie at all, so nobody wore them unless we had our jumper off.
I don't know how long I had it, it used to be a little bit above my belly button - but i'v grown since so I can't really say an exact size.
