I can't speak for myself because I haven't been there all day as I have been out. But I'm sure there have been staff members in there all day! Staff members need a break. Individually we try and do as much as we can to make sure the Habbox Help Desk is running smoothly, some of us may even have other duties in other departments in Habbox which they also have to attend to.
Don't knitpick, I've been in a lot today and 99% of the time there are staff in there, staff area or not.

Yeah, so there are no staff in for a few minutes. Big deal. A few minutes before I left there were so I see no reason why to make such a thread.
There are staff in there almost all of the time, as you well know. Unfortunately there are situations where no one is about, it doesn't happen often but it is inevitable. Like sometimes, on rare occasions, there are no Moderators online on the forum. It's not a big problem. It really isn't an issue. The RN system clearly tells us staff are active.
I'm hardly looking in hxhd event minute...

I don't take screenshots every 1 minute comparing the situation of staff to the minute before it and upon realising there is no staff for one minuite report it..............
I randomly go into the help desk **** knows how long no staff member was in i'm not some kind of magician to teleport into the past to see if a staff member left the minute before....
God it's so hard not to be rude on this forum sometimes..
So you do it in the Help desk. I hardly think calling me a "stupid ******* ****" is going to resolve the situation tbh.
My point being is that you're in a lot, you see staff in a lot. You're taking one situation and exaggerating it bigger than it is.

I go into HxHD, i see no staff, i wait, i see no staff 5 minutes later, i simply assume there was no staff prior to me entering the room, hence i make this thread saying its unacceptable no staff are in there during a busy period....
What is actually hard to understand about that, i don't know...

And alex last time i checked prior to being in there today i haven't been in since wed morning, and even today when i go in the room 90% of the time within a minute im AFK again so.. clearly alot :S
i ask for help and about 13 staff ask WHAT DO U NEED all at once its terrible fire every1

Ahh it is acceptable for staff to have lives? We don't have to be in there all the time? like Garion said, there is a RN system, and we know who's active and in the hxhd at the time.

last time i checked trialists werent hired over a week ago so...
They received their perms last Sunday.
Trialists have absoloutely nothing at the matter. In actual fact 1 week ago and you were there, staff were there 99% of the time. This means that now there's even more staff there's less reason for this. 5 minutes? Big deal, I think you should also note how staff are now on more times of the day. A few weeks ago I wouldn't have seen staff in the early morning, now I am. There's more pros than cons, you're just picking out the bad parts. Balance it out.
P.S. thanks phil, that's 6 days ago where you were here, staff were here a lot.

The only reason ANY argument started in this thread is because people like you, who fail to read any post on it and reply with something that is completely unrelated.
This is the habbox FEEDBACK (response to an inquiry or experiment) this thread is stating my OPINION (a personal belief or judgment that is not founded on proof or certainty; "my opinion differs from yours"; "I am not of your persuasion"; "what are your thoughts on Haiti?") that the help desk should have some mother******* staff in it when theres 20 people in the room and there is 20 staff, yet not one is active enough which shows a PROBLEM (a state of difficulty that needs to be resolved; "she and her husband are having problems"; "it is always a job to contact him"; "urban problems such as traffic congestion and smog" )
Making an exception from today - Saturday - in the Weekend - when most people are usually busy, or out in real life - staff have been very active, and there has been at least one staff member in the room there to help. Staff have been very active today, on average, and as it is night, many UK staff are offline. Furthermore, it is summer break, many staff are on holiday which may be a reason as to why not many staff are active.
I'll repeat what Matt Garner just said: at times it HxHD may look low on staff, but there are always a few from time to time throughout the day.
If you have a complaint against staff for not helping > Habboxforum.com > PM > Nixt > Send your complaint.
No department is perfect? Staff might have been busy doing things. And if they are in the HxHD they would be inactive, which would cause more problems?

Most of the staff are from UK lol. They should hire more people from other countries to expand it. The time difference from where I am is big I mean 6 PM compared to 10 is a good amount. Time to open them up for other countries.

We have three North American staff and that's plenty in the summer at least. With not many applying there's not much I can do other than try and get a higher following from the North American Habbo population which is something all of Habbox is trying to do. Ideally I'd like around 5 North American staff throughout the school year so keep your eyes pealed for that!

Where are your Aussie Staff? Yeah... exactly, early early in the morning the desk is unmanned until I log on.
I don't think the problem is the lack of staff being in there, I think it is the staff's in-capabilities of helping. Last Monday, after someone asked why they can't change on the forums their, TWO staff that I won't mention suggested he PM Oli on the forums. I had to step in and answer him myself.
So as I said, it's not the lack of staff showing up ye.
And everyone moans that Habbox is run like a business.. :rolleyes:
That's good. There is a bigger time difference depending on where you are in America. EST is 4 hours PST is more. I've noticed a lot of sites from uk are still really based around uk but that's not their fault it's every other country not joining in. Oh and the time I gave was just an example. Hopefully when apps open I'll still be around haha. :) it'd be nice to see the place as full as it is during the day at night as well, and even more awesome over night with au and sg.

I think staff being in the help desk at all is something! Remember if there are 20 help desk staff, I think expecting them to be in he held desk helping people for OVER 1 hour a day is pushing it (yes 24 hours in a day, only 20 help desk staff. 4 of which are in a totally different timezones (maybe even more!)
who the **** is dishing out +reps like they're sweets, but yeah most of the time when I go in there is staff likewise sometimes I go in and theres no staff.
Bingo! Just several weeks ago the time to hit for a passing grade was ten hours which would give staff a 5/10 on their weekly report. Management have reduced this significantly and it is justified, because we do have a significantly higher stafflimit since the bar was raised so high!
We have no Australian staff! I don't think there were any applications we could pass from Australia unfortunately.
As far as incapability of helping users goes that seems to be relative to the times. One way I hope to combat this is to code in a knowledge base into our staff tool so staff have an aid when it comes to answering questions they don't know. We're also now putting more emphasis on making sure questions get seen and addressed. I think when we switched to the big room it was throwing quite a zinger at our staff as the conversation in the room now seems to fly by very quickly. I'm hoping that our next layout will be in a smaller room which I think should really help in this regard!
Actually Eastern Time has a England offset of five hours. Atlantic time has the four hour offset :P
To be fair to hxhd, the majority of the time throughout the day there's people behind the desk. You can expect someone to be there every second of the day, it's a volunteer run job.

A lot of questions asked are simply being forwarded to people because the staff don't want to answer. As I say, HxHD is a chore for some people these days.. :rolleyes:

Yes and for a couple of weeks per year England is only 4 hours in front.. but then it goes back to 5 hours when you change your clocks :)
Typing a rare name into the box and hitting enter isn't an area of expertees for HxHD Staff? If they can't manage that then they shouldn't be on the computer! :P
