iOS 4.2
So I just download iOS 4.2 for my iPhone from the developers portal and I'm ready to give my in depth analysis of it, giving you the insight that you desperately want into 4.2:
- It sucks.
- It's the same as 4.0.
- Don't bother getting excited.

It's still got little addons for iPhone & iPod touch like better Facetime integration, youtube app update, new MIDI function added so creating music on iphone is coming, & the ability to restrict certain apps from peeps on your phone or sommint.

You forget that it is primarily for the iPad, which isn't on 4.x yet.

HDR is a pretty neat addition tbh.

anyway, 4.2 was meant to be a big update for ipad, not iphone. i wasnt expecting anything tbh. 5.0 is a mile away still anyway :(

Agree with this post 100% Just get a HTC device until Apple actually decide to release something that they don't have lots of control over when you buy it.

I just installed 4.2 on the iPad (I actually just downloaded it from Google and installed it from iTunes by option-clicking check for updates, it doesn't require you to get a developer account that way).

I can now multitask on my iPad. My iPad is now worth it :P
