Its meant to be 5 stars but all I've heard is bad reviews, apparently its just a guy stuck in a box underground for the whole film.
I want to see it just to see how bad it is
has anyone seen it?

I've seen it, and it's absolutely brilliant. It is just Ryan Reynolds buried alive for the entire movie, no other settings, no other on screen actors. But its done so well.
Never read a bad review...
Saw it in August and it's tremendous. The script is fantastic to sustain such a film for 95 minutes. I gave it four stars in my review.
If you look at the youtube trailer, almost everyone is saying something negative about the film.
The trailer? With all the quotes praising it?
No like people post on the trailer saying they seen it and it was terrible, some of my mates seen it and thought it was **** too. It sounds like a great storyline to a film but just seem boring how people say 'its just a man in a box for the whole film'.
Film is subjective, but mostly it's only the haters who bother to comment on YouTube videos for movies. I haven't read a single bad review from fellow critics and it went down with rupturous applause at the screening I was at back in August, and that was in the largest screen in the UK.
When I went to see it the cinema was filled with 13, 14 (who shouldnt have been there) and 15 year olds, most of which I heard slagging it off saying it was boring and not interesting, naybe because it doesn't have huge action sequences or whatever captures their attention, instead it has a bloody good plot. Perhaps its target audience is really a more mature one.
I absolutely loved it. The storyline was actually pretty good.
I'd recommend it to anyone.
Hmm, if the whole film is about one man in a box for the whole film then it has to be set up and done well - hopefully when i see it this is true.
Another film where the whole film is just in one scene is "Phone Booth" and that was a good film despite being in one place the whole time.
Hope it is a good film and I've also heard mix reviews for it.
basically:
DO NOT READ DOES CONTAIN MASSIVE SPOILER!!!!! ( is a question)
i always was dumb :P

why do what i put in spiler tho, wht was the point in the movie if it happens
I loved the ending. Just pure perfect. Like the way the credits came up just as that final part happened.
I didn't think it would be good as the whole film is just him in the box but it was well worth the £7 I paid to get imo, and I will buy the DVD. Bravo..
Nice to see someone supporting independent cinema rather than ripping it off.
Indeed.
Just watched the film there, holy ****. The ending was disturbing for me.
Also mods, i wasnt creating a new topic when there is already one recently made. so yeah.,
Fantastic film imo, the ending was a little weird though
Sadly I have to admit I haven't seen it yet but need to.
A little bit off topic, but has anyone seen Rope, a classic Alfred Hitchcock film that is done to appear to be all one continuous shot.
Yes, I have seen Rope. Fantastic film and I would urge everyone to check it out. Lifeboat is another great Hitchcock film all set in one location.
I have one of the hitchcock boxsets but haven't watched them all yet. But I read rope and thought this could be boring, but I was kind of fixed to the screen.
