I'd say she was just scratching her ear but the grip looks so much like a mobile phone, or maybe she is just scratching her whole face.

Interesting stuff. Quite weird to think that in 1928, nobody would have dreamt of holding something their ear to speak to someone with.. :P

seen this yesterday, i sent it to misawa and he's certain it's not a phone

i think shes simply talking to herself and she's trying to hide that she is by holding her hand up to her face
or that she's trying to hide her identity from the camera

It is a phone...you can see it lmfao. Also, the clothes seem a bit out of align, or is that my bad sense of fashion? But yeah...to me that looks like a phone of some sort..

but reading the article, the first 2-way radio was tested in the same year so who knows :S

No, it isn't an audiophone...

And that photo is obviously doctored.

The way she is holding it, it certainly doesn't seem the way someone would hold a phone.

The photo with the guy and sunglasses is fake, it has to be.

Seriously it is like they just photoshopped him in or something.
