When are you going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?
As soon as i can. It's officially out on Friday so probs the weekend after that maybe?
Friday at 5pm wooooooooooo
Next Saturday hopefully.
Reviews are either positive or very negative. Our review is coming soon, team saw it yesterday.
Going to the first showing in Birmingham, 9:30am.
reviews are stupid, they're based on a few peoples opinions. they are unnecessary, people should decide for themselves
ANYWAY going first showing 9:15 am on friday wooooooooo!
there's gonna be 7 of us missing classes for it, my friend has to say good-bye to her 100% attendance hehee
& i am dressing up ;l
saturday or sunday, omg wooo cant wait! :D
Reviews are written by one person... and people listen to reviewers more than word of mouth, hence we're very a neccesity to teh industry. But thanks for your disdain.
lol I agree! that seems a weird statement to make really. Reviews from critics aren't a necessity. They could still make films and successful ones too without reviews. I'd normally listen to the review from someone I know well (word-of-mouth) more than a stranger tbh.
Early December at a private screening hosted by American Airlines courtesy of my Dad :)
Shulda gone to the Première really REALLY pissed off by that, coulda met One Direction & all the cast.
Yes, reviews are opinion. Perhaps if you weren't so ignorant you'd realise just how many people are influenced by reviews. I can't count the amount of people who see or avoid films or TV shows because of my words - each of my reviews get thousands upon thousands of reads. Go talk to the biggest sites on the net and newspapers and tell them that their critics have no influence over people seeing movies when they have far more of an audience than me. The existence of critics is to influence and influence we do. Oh, and I love people who don't know what they're talking about try and argue a point against someone who is a professional at said topic. It's just so idiotic. Jog on.
Why do movie studios pay big bucks to quote reviews on their marketing, i.e. posters? Hmm, I bet it's because no one cares what critics have to say...
And wasting my time? Writing for Screenjabber has given me a number of fantastic opportunities.
On topic: our review is live on the site. We gave it a full five stars. I can't link you as the embargo on the film is very weird but it's live on the site.
Reviews are for people who are into film, or just want to read an educated opinion.
If you don't want one, you don't want one. Although I don't trust any of my friends when it comes to 'reviewing' anything as they usually have a metric of either
"Well good."
or
"it's ****"
or
"alright"
meh no doubt my mates will drag me to see this... not too keen on harry potter but a films a film i suppose lol

I must say I am not a big fan of the movies but deffo loved the books. I am trying to source together my collection so I can read them all again but its been so long I am not sure where half of them are.
yes im a big fan of it :D
love it wait for film very much :P
Wooo! yes love Harry Potter. I've read all the books however I would say the films just bring it to life for me more and I really enjoy every single one of them. I think it's great how it's progressed and the effects just are fantastic and everything. I still really love the first one just as much though! :P Hopefully going to see the film either at the weekend or early next week.
YES YES YES I LOVE THEM
im going to go on friday screeeeeeeeam cant wait
love harry potter, and daniel radcliffe!
I saw him on the graham norton show aswell, made me laugh how he can recite that song :L
Loveeeeee it. Seeing it Friday 7pm
me and my friend were talking bout what happens in the last film and another friend was all "DON'T RUIN IT!!!" n we argued she should read the books cause they're better and she'd know what was happening. & she said the films were better. that's the first time i ever heard that in my life ;l
don't like it, love it #1 fan etcetc going on friday
I prefer the films simply because i prefer films to books. Im far too impatient and irritable to read a massive book, not to mention i dont have a particularly amazing imagination. People have their own opinions on what they prefer n whatever, so if they dont like books then dont spoil it for them, not hard.
I've read the Chamber of Secrets, half of the Order of the Phoenix, listened to the audiobook for the Philosopher's Stone and read the ending of the Deathly Hallows on Wikipedia and decided I prefer the films xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
I prefer the books over the films. While it's nice to see what's happening, visually, I much prefer to build up a mental image of the place in my head and immerse myself completely!
Not sure when I'm gonna go see the film.. sometime next week probably.
