Well I was watching tonights Eastenders when I heard Dot saying "I'm going to have some marshmallows and watch Corries on TV" Did anyone else hear this? I am surprised this was said because they are both on different channels and they have been 'rivals' for quite some time.

It was done as a mark of respect.
Ya, it was nice of them to give corrie a shout :)
and tbh corrie did very well in their live episode.

yh it was a mark of respect sort of thing, i heard it and mentioned it to my parents after she said it, i liked the bit where i think it was stacey or kat who said she does not like it, haha
I think they're more neutral now, they did the child in need thing.
Oh and don't forget on Eastenders 25th, Corrie did a little scene of all the actors saying happy birthday. (Although this was aired on BBC1)
Yeah. I think people forget that there is like friendship in similar industries, as well as competition. :P

Yep I noticed it earlier. Dot kept going on how it was her fav tv show. :D
I've always wondered if the different people in these soaps ever think ''ohh I've got to get home to watch Emmerdale'' or what ever lol. But yeh, was a little surprised about it but was kind of obvious as to why they did it. :)

Not being bad but lol so what? there on at diffrent times... so it doesnt matter. Most people watch both,
BBC News also featured Corrie's 50th anniversary too - very nice of them.
