SPOILLERRRRRRS,
but yeah :
Ive read the soap mag. xD
I am sure I posted this whole Kat & Ronnie storyline in November.. anyway, I hope Stacey's leave is epic, something to remember, not just driving off in a black cab or in the back of a police car.
How horrible. :'(Ronnie is so cruel.
I also think she's cruel but I think the writer is even more harsh.
She's lost 3 children now. A grown one, miscarriage and a cot death :'(
Why does Ronnie never get the happy ending? :/
because if she got a happy ending then the character would loose all it's appeal. Ronnie is a character written not to be happy it's very hard to do but if you think most TV series have one. Like just when you think she's got what she wanted ie Danielle it gets taken away so you watch for the next time to see if it works out and then again and then again.
But yeah this story line is so unrealistic and i think they have taken ronnie too far this time. It doesn't just give her bad luck it makes her a "bad person" and imo it's ruined the character for me. They are getting desperate. Stacey's leave was done well but now this? It's not right. Kat isn't a character that suites "greif" but it does show a sensitive side to the gobby one now stace has gone she needs to fill the role.
god i feel so sorry for them both lol i barely ever watch it but im watching it now, if i was ronnie id probably have killed myself shes had a crap life
Its horrible watching it. I just hope they don't let it go on for years, as I couldn't bare to watch it knowing for that long :P
Yeah I hate it when they drag on for months and months, it gets so boring. Anyway, looks like cat is going to find out pretty soon.
They have actually said somewhere this is going to be a long plot line though... Don't quite know how it's going to happen with tonight's episode in mind though :/
I hope it isn't long Laura, I really hate long boring storylines :( And this episode is reaching 6,000 complaints which is pretty damn stupid. Why the hell watch it if it's so "bad"? Eurgh they moan at anything, idiots.
I dont see how it is unrealistic, but for me it was too boring. There was just no point in that storyline what so ever... I would of much rather seen those two boys grow up together and become best friends and stuff, but ohwell.
But am I the only one who just goes, 'It's not even real' I don't care if it's unrealistic, Eastenders is something I watch nothing they have done do i have a problem with
the thing is,
and the whole complaint thing is like, silly, because if they didnt do big things like this, everyone would complain that they're boring
Horrible story line.. and the complaint is quite interesting tbh!
I think it is quite realistic.. I mean if your baby just died, third child thats died after you expected everything to go fabulous and it just dies.. just like that. And then if you run out onto the street and no-one is there to help you like your mum, sister etc your obviously in a shock.. you dont know what your doing and then if you hear a baby cry and go upstairs to see it and then swap it, they are all effects of shock.. who knows what anybody is capable of when they are in that state?
Today's episode wasn't as bad as most of them, even though I'm sure it will get worse. The thing is if they just did a simple death, it wouldn't be as dramatic as the swap especially over Christmas when everyone is expecting an explosive episode. It isn't going to last as long as they would of hoped due to the exits which are planned in a few months time.
There is always going to be complaints when they do a big storyline such as this one, the death of Danielle got more complaints than this one despite in my opinion it not being as bad at all compared to this one which is highly controversial.
Some people need to get a grip and realise it's not real. If people cared this much about real life issues then the world would probably be a better place. Instead you have weirdos leaving flowers outside TV studios for dead plot devices and laying all their sympathy on some character played by a Eurovision loser.
I hated danielle but her dying made me stop watching eastenders (and i stuck to my word). It was the most ******ed ending to a story and i dont understand why they can't just have one happy ending, drama after drama, far too depressing.
I dont like ronnie either so it wasnt even the characters getting sad that i didnt like
and this storyline is stupid
k im done
This storyline makes me sad, not because of the baby's death, because I like Kat and Alfie and how they were really happy and stuff ;_; I hope they get Tommy back in the end, and it isn't one of those storylines that gets found out in like ten years time or something stupid like that
Also charlie is the worst ******* actor ever, he needs to be bumped off soon
Charlie leaves as a result of his guilt over Tommy "dying".
This whole storyline has been blown WAY out of proportion. The whole "they're making cot death victims look mental" thing is ridiculous. Ronnie's actions stem from her as a character not as a result of the cot death. That argument is stupid because Kat is handling it with dignity. I just don't get people's problems. The swap isn't being used as a sensationalist story, it was put in place for the spiralling of Ronnie's character and subsequent exit storyline. Now months of scripts and filming will go out the window due to 6,000 people with nothing better to do. No doubt they didn't see the show!! It's the whole Ross/Brand Sachsgate incident all over again.
Also, nobody complained a few months ago when Carol Jackson spent an entire episode hugging the dead corpse of her child. Nothing was in the media. It's all stupid because now we're gonna end up with poor storylines because they've had to rush them through.
