I never have, although i've often considered doing it.

Maybe when i return to rs after free trade returns i'll eventualy try it out.

Don't use free bots if you do :l so many people use them when if you do you are asking for a ban since you have no anti-ban and there not java scripted meaning it is easy to detect for a number of reasons.

Nah, runescape is a game and games should be played. There's no enjoyment in sitting there watching a program do everything for you. If you bot for some kind of advantage then you need a life =)

I downloaded one when I was about 12 but it didn't work properly so I deleted it and never tried another one, not only do I not trust them but I prefer to do it myself.

surely botting gives you a life since you don't have to sit for hours on end clicking....

I don't know because my opinion is that you're paying x amount of money a month for a bot to do work if you're a member.

For somebody to pay money for a bot to do everything for them and give them a rather unfair 'advantage' on a *game* is quite sad IMO because it isn't a competition, it's supposed to be something you play in your spare time.

yes but i don't like the part of the game were you have to train your levels... i just like fighting people so i bot the levels then play in pvp...

yes i botted like levels for quests or for money... i dont have like 99 crafting because i dont need it since it doesn't make me money or help me in pvp, but i have 99 mining since it makes money for pvp supplies.

that's not true, pretty much all free bots have an antiban and one of the best bots you can get is free

i have to admit some free bots are better then the paid bots because some paid bots dont even work because the devs never update them but i have been banned from free bots many times.

1. it's a game. you're supposed to play it.

I've tried it, even on my main, but I just sat and watching it while it did its stuff; incase anything went wrong!

Only kept it on for like 30mins then, haven't really botted since.

I used bots when i played runescape but only like during the night or if i was going out, otherwise if i'm on the computer i'd be playing it no point watching a bot 'bot', but yeah if you know how to use it properly theres a small chance you'll get caught.

More like the other way round mate, most botters bot so that they can sell their accounts or the gold they make, or some do it so they can enjoy Runescape to the full with their desired levels without having to tediously repeat the same thing over and over again. I'm pretty sure the people with no lifes are the people like you who actually play it legit. Oh btw, we don't watch the bots, we go out.

I did that for a while, then realised by watching it I might as well be actually doing it ;D
I used to let it bot whilst I talked in clan chat etc.
But I haven't botted in ages and it's only been on pures to get quick cash!

you can't really expect someone to spend like a month coding 1 mining bot or something :P
