I always buy new software from:

Otherwise Ebay but make sure that it has a usuable licence on it. :)
Do they send the disk through the post or got to download it?
What's the actual difference of 2010 and 2007 versions? Also if I give my friend the disk after installing on my laptop, will he able to install it?
Don't they usually do both when you buy the disk :S It was ages ago I used them, but I'm sure I got given a link to the download and the disk served as a hardcopy for when the link expires. Or I'm thinking of Ultimate Steal :P
Hmm, hard to say. I guess the main difference is that Microsoft have moved important things into convenient places and added a few useful features. When you print a page you get a preview of the end result rather than having to go to print preview as with older copies, so it's combined the two features - you also don't get a "print" window pop up, it's all done in the Word document, which is a small thing but it does mean you can play around with settings at the same time. It was a while ago I last used 2007, and I haven't used PowerPoint 2010 yet :PQuote:

Either way, you'd be given 2010 rather than 2007, unless they're still somehow selling it :)
Alright thanks guys, do I need to provide them something as proof to show I'm a student?

What do you think? Also as Ryan said do you need proof your a student?
That site is trusted, do it.
Got my copy of windows 7 from there, all good.
Those are very good prices, I would go with it and get the 2010 version.
To prove you are a student:
Type in a local school, put in any name.
They don't appear to check.
