Looks actually not too bad, but the question is do they need another film? It looks like its kind of a reboot really. I read they plan to do it as a new trilogy, so 2 more after his one, but it could be a rumour.
One more might be okay but a trilogy sounds like its going to just turn to repetition.

The original rumour was that all 3 of the original characters were going to be killed early in this film ;O would be quite shocking but great ;)

Heard of this ages ago. I might watch it, but then again I'm not a big fan of Scream and IMO they all suck. All horror movies suck lately... Anyone else agree?
I really hope it doesn't suck. I love the Scream films, just usually following up with sequels from years ago tend to be a total letdown.

I'm so glad they're coming out with a fourth! When I was younger I loved the Scream trilogy. So a new 4th one sounds like a good idea to me. The girl from Pretty Little Liars is in this one too, which is kind of cool.

It's not on the BBFC website yet, so don't hold your breath, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a 15, sadly.
agree with misawa, i was hoping for an 18 rating because i just turned 18 and i dont want a load of 15 year old's laughing all the way through :P XD
Yep it's on the BBFC as a 15 so sorry to rain on your parade. :')
The rating came today. BBFC have become far more relaxed about violence as long as it's not sexualised, so hopefully Scream 4 will be like the original since times have changed ratings-wise. I think the movie's going to absolutely suck, though.

A mystery-based slasher movie? Scream wasn't the first - it was preceded by the gialli boom of the '60s and '70s - but it was the first of its kind to be so self-referential about the genre.
it was slightly sarcastic (hard to get across whilst typing) i meant thats scream is one of those films that people love seeing because its scream and rarley take into account the story.
I think everyone who is a fan of the Scream movies likes them because of the story...
