50,000 Users!

50,000 Users!

So as we are getting closer and closer to the 50,000 mark I was just thinking, will there be a massive party or something special? Only 109 users to go I think!

No, we've had 79000+ members, but 20000-30000 have been deleted.

User IDs are generated in order of what users sign up to the forum, I.e jrh2002 is user ID 1, sierk is user ID 2, if you go to your profile in the URL bar it will show your user ID, which is actually 74726 :P So we hit the 50,000 mark a long time ago and the forum stats lie, as inactive users are cleared out every now and then.

Why would it be pointless? That's like saying at least 90% of events that habbox run are pointless really. This is the perfect excuse to run an event that will attract new members and keep the old ones sticking around.

We will look a bit stupid if we run another 50000th member event on two months time (new users/users who leave). What this does shbow though, is we had a drop in activity recently, however we are clearly getting that activity back.

Ok, i misunderstood your earlier post then. I thought you were talking about the overall members that ever joined which is nearly 80k. An event of this type would be perfect to attract new members as it looks extremely good that hxf has managed to get 80k members over the years, no other habbo fansite has gotten anywhere near to this.
