Jessie J has impressed me. I hope she's right back on her feet after her panic attack.

He's always been an artist that I thought I should check out, but kinda didn't. His new LP Age of Adz is pretty much a masterpiece, probably if not best, in top 3 of my favourite albums last year
Lady Gaga and Rihanna have had a great year i think.
2010 was lady gaga's year (for me at least)
Lady gaga definitely had a great year last year. Jessie J has impressed me so far this year.

I'd have to say Rihanna or Lady gaga although i think Adele has also been doing well. :)
ellie goulding for '10, absolutely love her. and so far this year adele is definitely back in my life. love her.

2011 guys....haven't really been able to judge yet.
Definitely Lady Gaga and Rihanna I also think Bruno Mars and Cee Lo Green had a good year :}

2010 was deffoooooo Katy's year for me. TD was huge as an album and all three main singles did tremendously well. After her first album I'd kind of forgotten my love for her but even after the first single I was back into my obsession h3jewnjde. Rihanna's had a fantastic year as well, I think Rude Boy was released in 2010 and that did well, as well as obviously the new singles from Loud.
So far this year, for me personally it's been Jessie J but I think Adele's doing really well atm :). With Gaga & Britney's new albums coming soon I suspect they'll have some good years too :P.
ohh well if this is about personal tastes then whatever. i'm not that into adele's music but she has had the most success so far this year (in the UK at least). the two singles released so far from her album this year have got to number 2 and number 1, and currently her latest album is spending its fifth (fourth?) week at the top of the album chart, with her debut climbing up to number two at the same time, which hasn't been done by a living artist since the beatles. her sales are ridiculous are as well i don't have a figure off the top of my head.Quote:
