Habbox Trade City - Refurbished!

Hey,

Ok so this room has been closed for a while now, partly because i didn't have time to maintain it, but i'm hoping to get it back up and running soon. If you hate the colour green, don't look :P. I've just changed a few things around to keep it fresh and in line with more modern furni. Tell me what you think:

I took one image with fireworks, and one without, the fireworks look better in client.

Was hard to get it popular named as Jade Trade, then when i named it Trade City it seemed to be easier :S

Awesome room :D I'm assuming it had a wired effect to get people into the room.

I like the effect the fireworks give it but it still looks great without them, well done Dan! :D

Yeah it's wired and it lands you on 1 of the 5 petals around the wired switch.

Only problem i am having is that when you use the VIP Entrance via the Arch Teleport, you also end up on the 5 petals rather than in the VIP Area. So i'm not sure how to fix that one. BTW eventhough it looks like you can walk straight into the bit with the Thrones, you can't, there is a CD under the petal.

I may just get a wired thing where when a user says a word they are teleported into the VIP Area.

I like the contrast between the Jade Dragons and the Thrones, i think it just works :)

It's a very nice room but I'm surprised it even got nominated for the Elite Forum. It doesn't stand out at all, in fact all the green just makes it more boring because the colour connotations are nothing special. I think elite rooms should 'stand out' and this just camouflages in with any other trade city to be honest.

Have to disagree here. It is very atmospheric and it certainly stands out to me. Each to his own I guess. :)
