I was advertising that in the hxhd and events for an hour and some people actually put some headbands and belts on !
If you are HC/VIP Wear headband, If you are non-HC/VIP put the belt on ;)
how will this help japan in any way?
It will show support.
It doesn't - it just helps Habbo get more money.
Okay but i dont think they really care/want that. If you really want to show support, then donate money.
there aren't going to be any japanese people on habbo, therefore they are not going to see this support..
People buy VIP to use the bandana.Quote:
Its not paying, its giving the users that are not HC/VIP the privilege to wear the bandanna seeing as it has something to do with Japan on it.
It's a lot like the HC trials. If Habbo gives a vip/hc item to non-hc/vip users, they may like it and buy Habbo Club because they like it.
I will not be wearing anything to do with Japan, no point.
chill niamh it's showing they're aware of whats going on and the seriousness of it
what more can kids possibly do? i think its sweet
have you donated?
No, but no where did i claim i was showing support. If you feel the need to show support, then do it properly, not half assed.
I say RIP and thats my respect to the dead, i cant go over there personally and bury them can i? However with those alive, i dont feel that they need my money.
oh my god they're wearing virtual headbands on HABBO out of respect
they're just showing that they're aware of it
get over it, god whats your problem with it? it's not half assed
nothing like that can be classified as 'half assed'
some probably have donated, it's their choice
He said hes supporting japan, not showing respect to japan.
My problem is that i dont like people who think they're supporting, when in fact they're not and then get that righteous feeling that they're making a difference. IF you wanna make a difference and actually SUPPORT japan, then donate. This is half assed.
Yeh go them then, its upto them whether they do or not im not forcing them. But if they're bothering to 'support' on habbo if you wanna call it that, then they might aswell do it properly and actually support them.
since when did support have to mean giving money? look it up in the dictionary
they are making a difference they're RAISING AWARENESS
So if I support a football team then does that mean I'm not a supporter? BLIMEY
:P
This might just be me, but i dont really see the point in raising awareness on habbo. The only change it'll make is they'll start also 'supporting' in that way and the cycle begins.
Hey i looked it up in the dictionary
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/support
No where does it describe what this person wants to do, only what im saying.
You forgot to reply to me.
Oh wait thats because my point is valid and you can't.
sorry I had to do it lol
what about 'support groups'
A support group may also work to inform the public or engage in advocacy.
but this is going completely off topic... i don't get where you're linking the term support to financial aid when it has various different meanings
you started an argument out of nothing
i love you
why do people wear pink in relation to cancer
okay so then i'm confused what are you still arguing about?
if we've cleared up they're wearing the head bands to raise awareness can you repeat your problem please
and i said that any change is good?
by others supporting they'll become more informed, others will notice it, it will increase donations
people will see it as a big deal and realise that it's real and it's serious, and that they can help
ALONGSIDE wearing the headband and showing people that their thoughts are with japan, some of them will probably donate
Is it bad that we are supporting them in bad times?
o btw this thread will closed soon because of arguements
then obv didnt read my post coz i said it'll just be a pointless circle. It's like all over the TV so if they dont see it there then i dont even know. Someone wearing a bandana on habbo isnt gonna make a difference because they probably wont even see the relation between the two.
no coz you arent supporting them, only acknowledging what has happened and then wearing a bandana
I think that's all points covered, for any further points just look back at one of my posts. And if you still feel the need to argue then reread like 3 of my posts where i say i dont really care, do what you want, i just think its a dumb idea and there are better ways to support them.
