Next day delivery depends entirely on where you are sending it to and how close it is to where you live. Royal Mail state that it's a 1-3 day service, but you must allow 14 days before claiming that it's been lost.
My Dad said thats its between 1-3 days ;)
In theory it should next day even from Lands End to John o' Groats as long as it's posted before last collection.
The 1-3 days is more of a safety net.
I get confused by this too. Special Delivery is supposedly next day - according to the postal worker I saw the other day :/Quote:

Special Delivery is different from FC.
I purchased something on eBay yesterday and it was sent first class recorded and got it this morning. Normally it'll get where it's got to go in the three days though.
Still waiting on my phone to reach mazuma after 3 days so it really depends :P
It came this morning! Noone was in though so I'll have to go and pick it up from the Royal Mail place tomorrow.
