Listen to this (please dont scroll to bottom immediately, do the questions 1 at a time , otherwise the effect is spoilt)

Pick a number 1 - 9

times this number by 9

Add your 2 new numbers together EG.27 2 + 7 = 9

Take 5 away from your new number

Now think of the letter of the alphabet that matches your number eg.26 = Z

Think of a European country that begins with that letter

Now take the next letter of the alphabet and think of a LAND animal that begins with that letter

Repeat that 3 times.
Then ask them to say the name of a vegtable.
Most will say carrot.
