I got my retainers when I was 14, then fixed when I was like 14 and then got them too off when I was about 15 :)
I got my brace when I was 16, and will have it until the end of this year. :)
18months worth! Got them taken off in dec last year.
Didn't have much wrong with my teeth, but I was sooo self concious. 2 of my top teeth stuck out - they were my 'fly-teeth' and I like, never smiled 'cos of them. Had to get 2 taken out though, scariest moment of my LIFE. Only just qualified under the NHS. I now have night-time retainers which I'm meant to wear every other night right now, but I've lost them, and now my bottom teeth have gone all wonky again xD
That's happened to my teeth too but I don't like wearing my retainers because I can't talk when I have them in and if I wear them at night they just come out while I'm sleeping :(Quote:

cant remember when i had mine but i had them for a year I think. Had 2 teeth removed tho
and yh it's cool with the colours. I changed my colour almost everytime I went to get them tightened. Think I had blue, green andddd orange. I was gonna change them to pink for a laugh but think I made the right decision not to

I have braces now - got them in november 2009 and should have them out in september :) I had like 4 teeth out before and it didnt hurt 8-)
no, i don't need them i've been told even though i wouldn't mind i hear they make you feel **** in the long run
no i have never had them and i should never need them unless i mash my teeth.

I had braces from when i was 15 - 16.
They were quite severe before I had them and the dentist took one of my teeth out with her bare hands so yeah I hated her.

nononono. i don't have braces and I don't want 1 either. Braces suck and it doesn't change the fact that your teeth are not in good condition.
im getten braces.. my teeth are a mess. :(

never had braces, never needed them. My teeth have no alignment issues, thank god!
OMG I always wanted braces but never needed them. I think it looks cute when people with braces smile :D
I dont need them luckily, I think it would be really hard for me to talk as I do struggle with that sort of stuff. :P
I had the removable brace from the age 11-13 and then I stopped wearing it so the guy said don't come back :P (He never really liked me)
