Yeah I remember that competition they held, although I've never seen the bot's myself.
Would love to see the room or pics of the room with bots!
I remember for Heartbreak hotel 2010 there was a comp to win a bot, and nellies won it. I don't think he got it though.

Idea of selling Bots was posted in the Uservoice forum. The Idea has been accepted and a staff has said that It's a great Idea but it would ruin all RPGs and many habbos will lose their income or w.e
I'm sure they nearly did release them.. I remember seeing a catalogue header, and a screw catalogue icon as well as a list of 9 different bots that included a butler. Anyway it would enhance roleplay I would of thought.
I wish i could remember the name of the person who won one of those bots..... i remember going to their room and it was just walking around. I think the name got posted on the forum, a bit of searching may find it.
And with Habbo saying they can't sell bots, i think thats just them making excuses. They know they will be hard to moderate (like people will make rude ones and stuff) so thats the main reason why. I'm sure they could sell them because you can call a Guide Bot to your room via the Help Tool, and thats not like they had to place it in your room via housekeeping. They could just do the same thing but place them in the catalog and then you click buy and they enter your room and stay there.
They are just like pets, but people. Pets walk and talk and eat, they could easily make pets into people, just by changing the graphics
