Average Exp/hour Rates

I originally posted this thread in my clans forum, and Aiden persuaded me to post it here. I hope it will be of some help to you guys.

This topic will provide details on different methods of training for each skill and the average exp/hour per method. It won't be very accurate, but it should help people decide which method would be best for them and approximately how long it will take them to level up.

If you wish to contribute:

Calculate how much experience you achieve in one hour for a particular skill. An easy way to do this is by logging in and typing !start skill into the IRC channel. After one hour of training, log out and type !stop. You should then find out how much exp/hour you received. You can also calculate the amount of exp you received yourself but please try to make it as accurate as possible. Also post your current level, the training method, any bonus items you might be using (e.g stealing creation tools) and any other familiars/boosts.

  Extra Info: 35k experience is achieved at level 80 mining without using a familiar and using a rune pickaxe. 40k experience can be achieved at level 80 mining without using a familiar but using a dragon pickaxe. 60k-65k experience can be achieved by using a lava titan and a dragon pickaxe at levels 85-90+. 70k experience can be achieved by using mining urns as well.

• Dragon Bones on Gilded Altar
  Level: 1-99
  Exp/Hour: 210k-230k
  Extra Info: This involves using a War tortoise to carry bones, a Duelling ring to teleport to Castle Wars bank and a teleport to house tab. Additionally, a Ring of kinship may be used to teleport oneself to Daemonheim, as there is often a lack of familiars compared to Castle Wars. Additionally, you will not run out of charges.
• Frost Dragon Bones on Gilded Altar
  Level; 1-99
  Exp/Hour: 1.8m-1.9m
  Extra Info: This involves using a Pack yak to carry the bones.

• Training Method: Chinchompas, chaos tunnels, mummies.
• Current Level: 90
• Exp/Hour: 150kish (Probably more with the correct range armour - attack bonus)
• Any familiars/boosts/extra tools: I normally use ranging pots at it helps a hell of a lot.

Very useful. Been a bit busy lately to go on but I know this will come in very handy.

Place: North Ardough-Combat training camp ( 2 quests req)
Using a crystal bow on ogres gives 60k exp per hr

Skill: Melee 80+
Where: Bandit camp bandits (afkable)
Use a bunyip there and gain 30k exp an hr without doing anything.
