I have the 42" model, Very good TV imo

Never heard of Isis in my life, prefer going with known brands :p
Price<brand IMO

Thoughts on that?
Was just looking for a £300 32" one but found a 37.
Forget the spec and go and have a physical look at them in action in a shop. Find one you like at the right price then buy online if it's cheaper elsewhere. Go for a quality brand, not one of these budget ones if you want a good TV that will last.
Samsung is a budget brand? :p since when
Personally, I'm a pretty big fan of Panasonic TVs, so I'd say go for it.
The only potential downside that I see is the panel is only rated at 50 Hz.
Is there even a noticeable difference?
I bought this http://www.lg.com/uk/tv-audio-video/...v-42LE4500.jsp not to long ago, I bought for £500, you can pick up for like £399 now.
I've always stayed away from LG as had faulty monitors with them in the past :p
However;
Whats games like on it (xbox 360 etc)
Hows the view from under it (i'll be sitting below it and it'll be wall mounted so i'll be looking at it from an angle from the bottom)
Whats the picture like?
Also apparently its only 50Hz aswell?
The gaming is great when played in HD and I have mine wall mounted and from every angle bottom and both sides, it is still just as good.
Being LED the picture is very good, but when HD is not being used/watched it does look very blockey, when up close but that's up close, and about the hertz, I have no idea sorry.
Main thing thats worrying me about my original choice, the Panasonic Viera TX-L42U3B is that its 50hz since nick mentioned it now :p
Yeh I plan on going to look at it in Currys/Comet before buying it, just wondering as they won't exactly have xbox's and bluray with fast five car chases going on etc :p
It'll probably just be standard crap so was wondering if I should expect something.
I read something posted in 08 saying 50Hz was standard EU TV and 60Hz was standard American TV
So shouldn't be much of a problem I'd assume?
With mine i have my bluray hooked up and watching fast five 2012 etc is amazing. The colours are so vibrant. Plus with my home cinema. Goes down a treat.
I liked the look of these:

£299.00 with £50.00 cashback
If 50Hz is fine i'm gonna get the Panasonic 42"
But is 50Hz fine?
Judging by most tvs being sold are 50Hz, and about 1/4 100Hz+ i'm guessing it'll be fine.
50Hz will be fine for your viewing, the bigger the tv the worse the quality of picture will be, unless using HD/Blu-Ray :)
So 50Hz will be fine for Sky+HD and Xbox 360
Thanks :p
