-
Can I ask is that £610 spent on just your cooling system?
-
Why are you watercooling?
-
I think your tubing is too thick for the rest or your stuff.

Yeah it's meant to be like that for a tight fit.

Quite. I read it wrong and thought you were putting 7/16" tubing on 1/4" connectors which is not going to work. I see my mistake now.
-
I would recommend you go with the XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir instead of the pump top, looks a hell of a lot better.
-
bay res comes with built in pump doesn't it
I have a XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Res + Pump set atm and it failed (or atleast most likely cause for temps spiking to 95°)
******* annoying posting on this forum as the black skin is still ****** and all the other skins are ****.

Forgive my ignorance but if you are spending £610 on a cooling system and case so you can overclock and get a little bit more bang out your processor why not spend that money on a better processor or am I missing the point here? :S
-
Well technically its £377 on cooling.
£150 is on case as the one I recently bought is annoying and small.
Another £65 is on 10x 120mm fans
And majority of it will be useful for future builds (only the 2 water blocks will need to be replaced)
-
You can get a Sandybridge from 3.2 stock to 5.0 on air easily, you don't need watercooling IMO...
Just sayin'
-
Got it to 4.5ghz on air but was hitting 70 degrees

What kinda settings are you running? Mine's stable on 4.5 and rarely goes above 50 at full load.
-
Air flow in the case is ****, can't remember vcore etc I had as i dropped it back down as I didn't like temps 70+ :p
On stock speed at idle its about 40 degrees, gfx 65.
But gfx card is always running at high load as it's faulty card which will get RMA'd next week after my 6950 arrives tomorrow

You are an actual idiot if you're spending £610 on water cooling, like seriously, are you that ******* stupid

Not everyone lives off job seekers allowance with parents who are constantly high or drunk.

Removed the GPU block, as i'll add it in the Summer
Changed the rad to XSPC new series EX, changed tube res to bay res, changed fittings a bit, added a T Line so it's easier to drain.
Also getting a few stuff from SpecialTech
6x 3 Pin Fan Cable Extension, 2x 6 Pin PCIe Power Extension, 4 Pin ATX12V Extension, ATX 24 Pin Extension for £47
all of above will be the BitFenix Alchemy Pre-braided red cables.
I'll also most be getting a Sealing Plug with 1/2" ID from SpecialTech and 1/4" T Fitting.
Possibly an in-line temperature sensor and flow sensor, unsure atm.
Any suggestions? :)
