The smurf's film looks really good actually
I hate the surfs :(
The Smurfs is awful, as is Transformers 3. Get a Disney film.
My sister got The Lion King on 3D Blu-ray for christmas, I watched it today and it's well good.
Are you looking for a film with good 3D effects, or a good film on it's own? I don't think that there is one that utilizes both.

Only 3D blu-ray I own.
Ended up buying,
Toy Story 3 - Loved it in the cinema, and wanted to try an animated movie on my tv.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, I was disappointed when it wasn't released in the cinema in 3D. But they now have it in 3D on blu-ray, So I bought that.
Ultimately, 3D sucks.
