Would love to learn new ways and hopefully give up the ciggys once and for all. as i only smoke when i am stressed or more..
When I'm stressed I usually take a long bath and read a book or something to take my mind off everything. I also lock myself in my room on my own and just listen to music.
go for a walk and think things over :)
Listen to music or lay on my bed
smoking never destressed me really i think it was all placebo mehh i like to get as far away from people as possible so usually pop in my headphones and go for a walk
a bath with radox de-stress and lots of cups of tea
Crack one out or go shopping
Listening to music, playing games or taking a long bath. :P
listening to music works well, having a good cry (although it doesn't sound calm) can sometimes make me feel better after too and a nice relaxing bath is good. I also find that just talking to someone has the ability to calm me down a lot too haha.
if someone in my house has annoyed me, i normally lock myself in my bedroom and block the door or something and listen to music :)
Drink lots of Jager, that'll calm you right down. :)
I listen to the most pretty classical compositions of my musical library when I feel I need to relax if I'm nervous or anxious. If I'm angry I tend to listen to songs with vocals, or just generally very epic or exciting compositions.
I go and lay down in my garden when it's night because it's so calm and peaceful (:
In daylight I look at my sexy ant farm ;)
i just play games or go for a walk. I also have a stress ball which I actually find helpful.
spending money. only thing that calms me down. think that's a problem.
lol i usually throw stuff, go into my room or leave the house for a few hours and have a rage on facebook LMAO
I used to get in a lot of fights because i always got p*ssed off from people that have no respect for other people, but that was years ago. I've taken a step ahead of myself of what i used to be and don't do that anymore. I usually listen to relaxing music, and what i mean by that is no so much heavy hardcore music. I usually take a shot of alcohol and have a beer, but you shouldn't always rely on alcohol to calm you down especially if you don't have access to it. So i would recommend listening to music, maybe watch a movie to help your mind get off things?
erm i don't have any "ways" really because i take it out on others but i was kinda pissed off yday and just kept listening to music/speaking to someone i do like and it sorted out
- Listen to some music
- Do some kickboxing
- Doodle
- Express my feelings on a piece of paper.
Works alot for me *thumbs up*
I listen to music to calm me down or just punch my pillow. Also, I agree with [@]@Bolt660[/@] a good cry can help tbh!
If I'm in the position where I can go to my room then I'll do that and put a pillow over my head and just let any negative feelings disappear, sometimes I might read a book/play games/revise until I feel ready to go sort it out.
If I can't get away from the person i.e. sat next to them in class I just don't speak and ignore them. If I don't do this I end up making a sarcastic comment and everything just escalates into a massive argument.
count to 10
None really, I barely ever get annoyed or angry.
Have a tom hank or listen to some african music on youtube (not going to lie, it makes me feel like simba from the lion king)

my method is to have a shot of vodka or beer and a nice ciggy lool, but yeh that's not what you're looking for. You seem pretty young to be smoking though.
Just lie back close your eyes and listen to some chilled music and blur everything out of your brain.
Go to bed and sleep. When i wake up, i'm feeling great! lol
It's very rare I'm ever really angry but when I am I have to break stuff. It was the death of my dresser.
Listen to Eminem on full blast I guess
Taking a bath is a good way to de-stress. Also http://www.donothingfor2minutes.com/ is amazing! :)
To calm yourself down is a different thing though really, I just tend to stay in my room and listen to music like others have said.
I cry.
I have a smoke, but I don't get too stressed, I more smoke out of boredom.
Funnily enough I don't, I just sit there panicking or stressing out and there just comes a point where I think to myself 'what the hell are you doing? this is in no way going to help, so pull yourself together' and then usually that does the trick. I've tried loads of things before to get myself to calm down, but what I often see happen is, it either doesn't help or I calm down for a bit, but the thought is still in the back of my head. It may sound simple, but sitting down and thinking about it usually helps me.
i revise. it helps a lot to just focus on a book and learn haha.
Music or removing myself from my friends and family and just having a bit of time on my own.
