My roof isdestroyed -.- and in my back garden we have this fence.. well we did have a fence.
Sounds bad, it's really windy here as well. Might attempt walking the dog later
I was reading this in my bed before I got up and was thinking "what are you talking abuot it's fine here" until I got up and looked out the window...man it's so bad, good job I parked my car out in the street and not in the driveway part of our wall fell down :o
HAHAHA my mum literally got our fence back up yesterday from last time and it's down again lol dont think its as bad as before though
I've got bad rain and **** but nothing too bad xD
Oh, and I thought where I live was bad.. :P
I wanted to go to town today to watch a film but a tree fell on the train track and I don't wanna catch a bus. :(
It wasn't horrific here (down the south of England) but the slightest bit of my fence came off, at least that's what I'm assuming as I saw my neighbour fondle with it and hammer it.
Guess u guys have better luck than the bloke who got crushed by a tree in his van
One of our fence panels is now 3 houses away and half a tree decided to go for a stroll this morning, that's about it
I absolutely LOVE the wind (yeah I'm weird...) - it's only really ripped down my fence (North West) so it's not incredibly bad hither...
Was gonna go into town today for some shopping but the trains were off. :/
It was horrific this morning but has eased up a bit now. The fence panels have been re-enforced after it blew down last time so we shouldn't have to worry about that. :P
[@]@Thom[/@] - Weird...
My house was ok actually, it's in the middle of the town pretty much, so it was pretty sheltered. Loads of stuff had been blown into the street though, random flower pots, fences, bins and doors.
Was walking down the high street with a friend the day after, and a tile fell off a shop roof and missed her by like 2 inches or something. She was fairlyy shocked.
am i right in thinking these winds are now moving southernly? we had reallly horrible winds last night in birmingham, my family couldn't sleep for the noise.
The wind has been pretty bad here too and the garage roof was creaking but poor Scotland they really seem to have it the worst lately.
Its been pretty bad here, I was close to getting pushed into the road and nearly fell down a couple of times, not as bad as Scotland though :(
Dundee was pretty much unaffected, I'm not sure why we don't get it as bad as the rest of Scotland.
Was bad a few days ago but yesterday it settled and is fine now. Only thing that happened was recycling bins had all the **** blown from them.
That [@]@buttons[/@] one is forever letting out wind, rip scotland.
In all seriousness, I heard it's bad. The wind is crazy here too obviously not as bad but a man in limerick got blown out on the road and split in half by a truck. Disgusting. Just becarefulpeeps.
These winds have certainly been quite bad and widespread. Getting fed up of picking the bins up now haha. I think it can be quite scary really, especially at night when trying to get to sleep and all these noises outside waking me up etc with things blowing over. I'm already petrified of burglars and stuff and get worried easily and things like the wind doesnt help!
The winds seem a lot calmer today where I am. It was pretty loud last night though.
Around 25 trees fell down in the woods at the back of my house, luckily no where near the house but some were very close to others.
working in retail shows the best. watched a child being blown around a highstreet. i mean OFF THEIR FEET, MOVED. the wee dude loved it.
our dumps outside my work were moved about 100ft, they must be like a half a ton when full. they were tipped over!!
i didn't mind the winds. rather that than torrential snow. just ruins my day.
