Not a whole lot. When I'm miserable then I'm frickin' miserable. Sometimes music does the job, other times films, but mostly I rely on my friends to cheer me up.
ice cream, pampering myself (usually hair/skin treatment, or booking to get my nails done or waxing lol or even just a bath and hot chocolate), trying to make other people happy - idk sometimes i'll give someone i haven't spoken to in a while a text to tell them i love them or how much i appreciate them, ummm.. doing stuff i've been putting off (ie coursework)
having my back rubbed or hugs. you can have an e-hug from me. im also away to pamper myself with a bath :)
read agony aunt pages. "I SLEPT WITH MY BOSS AND COLLEAGUE, NOW IM PREGNANT AND DON'T KNOW WHO'S THE FATHER, WHAT SHOULD I DO?" makes you feel a little better that at least your life isn't the only crap one. :P
lol being serious, watching my favourite tv shows (preferably the funny ones not the depressing ones) cheers me up. that or going for a walk to think things through.

Urghh, either music, walking (somehow...) or energy drinks :P
Lie in my bed and/or listening to some music.
err nothing really I just ride it out in ma racing car
unless someone attempts to cheer me up but no one cares so i dont get cheered up by anyone :(
Listening to or playing music really. Like Chris (I think) said, when I'm miserable it normallyyy means I'm really down in the dumps and takes a lot to lift me out of it.
alcohol really, either a couple of pints at the pub or a couple of crabbies at home. but i'm rarely miserable/upset rly - to some extent i think at times i'm too laid-back/don't care to get upset over things. so i'm even lazy with my emotions, go figure...
I don't really feel miserable a lot of the time, haha.
If I was I think I would either listen to music or have a cuddle with my mum and talk about stuff :$
I got the same, told him to try reading the thread question at which point I was told that my reply does not have discussion potential... so what's cheering me up right now is reporting every post that hasn't made any attempt at discussion, which in this thread is everyone except Bethie and Alex's posts
retail therapy tbh! :(
Guys if you have an issue with moderation then can you please send a PM to Scott & Brandon!
Anyway, to answer the question, when I'm feeling a bit down I just tend to play music or watch funny tv shows. :P
oh i got one!!!
gta killing sprees
I try to do things on my own which allow me to be anonymous like go to a museum or for a walk and usually it's tranquil enough to make me a bit more settled.
I don't find the hole ice-cream/pampering thing really works for me
oh but retail therapy does - even if it's just a coffee and a nice salad
like today went to central, sat in a park in the sun and had a frappe and some sushi yumyum
music and sugar cheers me up the most. Or talking to friends
The signs of Spring; sounds of the birds and the buds opening.
But then I do gardening, so :P
Usually when I'm down I'll watch a movie but that hasn't seemed to be working recently. When I'm really down I just prefer my own company. Oh, sometimes I'll talk to someone when I'm really upset, but about them and not me so I can concentrate on someone else rather than my own problems.
I listen to my favorite songs, watch movies, drink cold water, eat ice cream, spend a night at my friend's house or go for a walk. well, those are what i did when i feel miserable. and all those pampering stuff like manicure whatev is just a waste of time to me.
wow. so classic
agreed
Probably take a nap or a long sleep. Nobody cheers me up! NOBODY!
Umm talking to my dog. :P
Can't believe I forgot to mention this before, but quotes are a good source for cheering me up as well. They're so good at putting life into perspective, and a good quote can cure so many tainted thoughts. After all, "a quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself." It's amazing how inspiring some people can be. http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/life
I have a hard time cheering myself up. I find that having a few special people who you have strong bonds with helps.
going for a jog
eating chocolate
playing with my dog
talking to ppl i like
when ppl make me laugh
being around people i like
CLOTHES SHOPPING
my cats x
maaa maww
music, friends (not the *****) and family (forever), cant knock that winning combination tbh
chocolate, hot baths, a good nights sleep, a good disney movie :) love it!
Talking to my dog :3
He always listens ;)
Listen to an upbeat, positive song.
I feel Love on Top by Beyoncé is good, or most of the stuff by Vocaloid Hatsune Miku.
And then go and get a hug from the cuddliest person in your house ;£

honestly? smoking a load of weed or taking a load of sleeping tablets and sedatives and drifting off to sleep for a good 24 hours or so. i know it's a stupid solution but i can be a danger to myself when i'm miserable, which seems to be increasingly frequent. sucks. >_>
